CO: $10 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $10 (100 bb)
SB: $15.91 (159.1 bb)
BB: $10 (100 bb)
MP: $16.95 (169.5 bb)

villain is fish playing 32/18/41WTS
is it pointless checking back this flop against this opponent with FD's/Gutshots out, also his high WTS? probably better to just cbet this flop to get stacks in later? i just thought he might stab turn w/ lower PP or weaker Ax that i can raise/shove over.
also, is my river call complete spew? his AF is just 1.0, but i could never see sets played this way, in game i just thought worse two pair or air are almost all of his range, thanks :)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A♥ K♣
MP raises to $0.30, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.95, 2 folds, MP calls $0.65

Flop: ($2.05) A♦ K♠ 8♦ (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($2.05) 4♥ (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $1.40, MP calls $1.40

River: ($4.85) 5♠ (2 players)
MP bets $14.60 and is all-in, Hero calls $7.65 and is all-in

Spoiler

Results: $20.15 pot ($0.99 rake)
Final Board: A♦ K♠ 8♦ 4♥ 5♠
Hero showed A♥ K♣ and lost (-$10 net)
MP showed 7♠ 6♠ and won $19.16 ($9.16 net)

I think its not good to slow play against those kind of opponents.
Its suicide to give them free cards.

I would value bet big flop and turn as well.

River is tough!

Usually they dont over shove river with air.

Typical suckout!! X( X(

Hello dannywratten,

Flop: I don't understand why people Check behind with strong made hands while the board is still drawy? Standard Bet the flop for me!

As played
Turn: I'd still bet it bigger. :)

As played
River: I'd just fold it, do you really think he would even ship with just Ax here? Or what do you expect the guy to ship? Usually it's mainly strong made hand. You haven't invested much into the pot so fold for me.

Best Regards.
