hand1: bet more on the flop and go broke

hand2: close spot but even if you just call you can't fold anymore. Depends on reads imo. If you feel he is a fish: nh! If he is rather nitty: just fold

edit - re hand 1.

Re-read bet types - protection bet article in silver strategy section. It is very rare you can give credit for flopped flush however you can never bet 1/8th pot at a suited flop as 1-card draw is much more common.

Bet 16-25c flop and shove to the re-raise. Villain is potentially calling or raising with any overpair, any pair + high diamond, even just Adx. Even against a flopped flush you have re-suckout with any pair hitting the board (10, 13 outs) and arnt really that far behind.

Now if you only had an overpair / TPGK into a made flush flop you still play the same line (bet 67-120% of pot), however instead of bet-broke you are playing bet-fold. You can never afford let a suited flop scare you out of protecting a made hand. It will cost you alot more in the long run.

^ if villain has a flush you only have 7 outs on the turn and 10 outs on the river.

True, I gave double credit for the outs on the 4 (3 to repair and 1 to quads.. oops?).

Would still play the same line though :)
