cbet on KT7s

Check-call has the problem that it caps your range. With a cbet you can represent almost anything ott, while check-calling otf means you don't have a set/big draw.

If you check, just fold to his pot bet. Your hand can't improve without some backdoor magic, so you can't stand any pressure ott/otr. So instead of calling flop and folding to most turns/rivers, just fold it otf and concider cbetting next time.

think about how many turns are good for you and how you can continue on them.
c/c makes sense on something like K :heart:J :spade:8 or 8 :heart:7 :heart:5

nice points by my predecessors. Really a bad spot to c/c. If you do decide to c/c for some reason, do it with hands that have clear outs.

After you check in this scenarion and BTN pots it's an easy fold as you have to fold all turns almost.

I have seen Phil Galfond check calling with K7 on the very same flop. its was played on plo100 and it was "exploitative play vid" so i think the concept call be applied here as well. The merit behind it was there are not that many good turns for heros hand, and K7 doesnt need that much protection coz the hands that r folding have littile EQ against heros hand (the K7) while his continuing range (often pair+ something ) is usually flipping against heros hand.. What do you think about this concept?

I am having the same kind of problem against unknowns, I think I x/c to much on flop, don't cb enough flops, especially multiway. I want notes on what people play this way, so I balance it in a sense with x/c nutted against people I see seemingly spaz off like this to get a note on what holdings they actually do it with.. it seems to me a lot of people feel the insane need to try to steal the pot if the original raiser checks, esp on micro limits. Once I get a line on how someone plays I can find ways to exploit it and sometimes it's worth paying to get that information to me. It has seemed to me that a lot of fish, tries the pot steal and then when a turn comes they have no clue what to do if they don't have anything and they just pot turn, pot river regardless what their holding is hoping you're not calling down. This is at lower stakes than you're playing and he could just me max valuing a set of course or have a monster draw, given how insanely drawy the board is, I think that spot against someone decent is gonna be b/f I even like x/f or c these spots depending on the player and sizing. I know we have TPTK but what turn card do we really love and we're OOP.
