PLO100 T988ss river hero call?

Pretty sure villain doesnt float the turn as wide against pot like the solver would. Plus you havent seen big bluffs from him.

You are blocking the hands that would bluff river (draws and T8). He check-calls flop and pot bet on the turn, what range would you give him for the river?

I think it's weighted towards KQTx and set/2p, with a little bit of naked T8. You got one blocker to both draws, so not much help there.

I would think here that versus unknown it's more likely that he has what he represents. And to make hero calls I would need some reads/notes/info to back it up here.

i think you have straight, easy call at least. i would also pot this if you have stack left.

Board pairs, which is different in PLO than in holdem. Betting big one the river is not an option imo, it's between check-fold and check-call. Making a blocker bet might seem like an option, but imo it creates the same problems as check, we are capped.

Yeah I think it would have been best to fold. Did call and he had J77x. Block betting river vs reggy type player is just bad imo. Weaker won't usually call. E.g. trips might instead bluff shove. Versus recreational there might be some point.

He had straight, but BAM! The River changed the hand strength around for these two players. What did they do now? One checked, which puts his straight face up, the other potted his new-found nuts, and the face-up straight check-called, only to see a really strong hand: a full house.

I can see bluffs like A97xdd and of course the wraps.
You heavily block the A97xdd combos but not really the wraps. I guess you would fold with a T♦:
Here it's closer. Since it's 3 handed I'm leaning towards call, for info too. Although we are not getting much info against a boat...

Is half pot your multiway sizing as default? What do you think about smaller like 1/3 and check/raise a diamond turn against a stabber?

Yes but he can't make J7 fold. And for that a weaker hand in our range would be a better candidate.
