97xx would often donk the turn if he has no redraws to protect and get value so i would bet/fold the turn. There are also many hands that picked up a FD or SD for example KQJx that you want to get value from and protect against.

River is hard to evaluate, on the other hand you underrep your hand quite hard, still it is possible that he picked up the bdfd or was going for a c/r on the turn with his 97xx. Since you would have barreled a turned FD most of the time he doesnt have to be afraid of it

when i look today at the hand its a clear bet ott. If he pots chraise i think i have to fold dont get the eq there

yeah i would bet turn. His range is much more than 97xx. And if he has 97xx, you only hit your boat on 25% of the time, so it's not like you cannot make many mistakes on the river when you check behind and he bets.

Not to mention the river can also be 7,9,J,Q + diamonds that could all potentially beat u.

As played call river. You've severly underreped your hand, villain might just be trying to fold out your weak tp or something.
