Hey guys!
I often find myself in these situations and I somehow dont seem to be able to deal with them efficiently. Villain is a 34/18 unknown with 1.2 AF on a pretty small smaple. Thoughts after the hand.

IPoker Network No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t30.00/t60.00 Blinds - 5 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

SB: t2280.00 38 BBs
BB: t1440.00 24 BBs
Hero (UTG): t1200.00 20 BBs
CO: t2395.00 39.92 BBs
BTN: t1685.00 28.08 BBs

Pre Flop: (t90) Hero is UTG with A♥ J♦
Hero raises to t180, 1 fold, BTN calls t180, 2 folds

Flop: (t450) 6♣ 6♥ 5♠ (2 players)
Hero bets t225.00, BTN raises to t1125, Hero folds

Raising pre is IMO pretty standard, and then comes a caller and that makes the pot relatively big. Flop comes, paired board, we should be able to get him to fold a high % of the time with a cbet, but the problem is that IMO it is a bit too spewy to cbet/call against an unknown. IMO if he has overs he usually flats IP.
So whats the best line to take here?
I dont like either line against an unknown and I definitely hatze bet/folding the most, leaving us with a very small stack. I know that once we bet we are getting good odds, but does he ever bluff like this? I mean... unknown villain.

thanks,
akrammon

3bb open raise? I don't see reason to use that bid size. 2.5bb or bit smaller is much better. Will make that cbet cheaper as well. Imo best line on flop is to just cbet-fold. Probably bet of 200 will give same result.
