hi,

Villan is unknown and it is a pretty strange raise. I like shoving but choose the less variance line.

iPoker - 60/120 NL - Holdem - 9 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

UTG: 1,230 (10.3 bb)
UTG+1: 1,375 (11.5 bb)

MP+1: 1,840 (15.3 bb)
MP+2: 1,055 (8.8 bb)

BTN: 1,340 (11.2 bb)
SB: 1,380 (11.5 bb)
Hero (BB): 1,765 (14.7 bb)

9 players post ante of 15, SB posts 60, Hero posts BB 120

Pre Flop: (pot: 315) Hero has J♦: K♦:
6 folds, BTN raises to 360, fold, Hero calls 240

Flop: (915, 2 players) T♥: Q♠: 5♠:

Spoiler

It's a little bit weird villain isn't shoving, but 3x could be villains standard raise size. if villain would shove I would call with KJs, but against a unkown your line isn't to bad. it's off course really tough to play post-flop out of position with a marginal stack.

Cheers,

In my opinion, if you don't shove pre, I'd fold. I agree it looks inducing but it's also pretty big to be inducing. We shouldn't expect to have too much fold equity so raising this big makes no sense imo.

On the flop, we have a SPR of 1.5 with an overcard and an open ender. I'm never folding here if there is no icm involved.

Yeah just shove preflop. As played we have to x-r flop. Calling 2bb preflop and folding this flop is very bad imo.
