Let's look at alternates:
 Pre-flop flat call. In this case, villain likely bets (perhaps 3/4 pot?). Villain might x/r as well. Hero ???
 pre-flop shove. Here villain calls
 Pre-flop fold to CO initial bet. Yuck
 Pre-flop fold to 4-Bet. Hmmm....

Assuming CO steals widely, here is a shot at gauging your equity:

BU     34.15%  31.53%   2.63% { A8o }

Doesn't look too promising.

What if we really widen CO's range to 25% of all hands:

       Equity     Win     Tie
CO     52.88%  49.31%   3.57% { 66+, A2s+, K6s+, Q8s+, J8s+, T8s+, A7o+, K9o+, QTo+, JTo }
BU     47.12%  43.56%   3.57% { A8o }

Now its a coinflip.

So maybe it's better to save that nice stack for a better spot especially this early. Down to <10 BB, go for it.

If I don’t want to look in the spoiler this hand is unreadable, but it’s also good to know what kind of player we are dealing with. Normal I would fold on the 4bet shove with A8o on the BTN if you like to 3bet against him. I expect he will only 4bet shove with better aces and strong pairs.
