PokerStars - 150/300 Ante 40 NL (8 max) - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 101.14 BB
UTG: 57.77 BB
UTG+1: 75.08 BB
MP: 48.38 BB
MP+1: 204.74 BB
Hero (CO): 68.15 BB
BTN: 60.08 BB
SB: 54.88 BB

8 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.57 BB) Hero has A♠ 7♠

UTG calls 1 BB, UTG+1 raises to 2.3 BB, fold, MP+1 calls 2.3 BB, Hero calls 2.3 BB, fold, SB calls 1.8 BB, fold, UTG calls 1.3 BB

Flop: (13.57 BB, 5 players) 3♠ 3♥ 7♦
SB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP+1 checks, Hero ???

I'm thinking I need to bet here to deny equity to over cards that may hit turn. Also getting value from worse 7's and 44-66. I initially thought to bet big but now thinking a small bet will also achieve the same?

A7s is a tricky hand to play post-flop with. Especially multi way. Most of the time I would make a fold.
Only if you hit top pair+ with the 7♠: or a flush draw you can continue post-flop.

On the flop I would bet small like 1/4 pot for value and re-evaluete on further action.
