Hahahaha, you're doing it man. Sick line. I play the same except I lead the river. But would get less value! Going to try this in the future :)

Hey. I'm calling 2 or 3 streets. I don't get the river c/p. A better hand is always going to call us, while no worse hand can herocall us, like TT, 99, since the flop is so dry, that you have to have something, which you cannot really turn into a bluff. So I'm just calling river, cos I don't want to get called by better and I don't see value in pushing.

Hey AceSteph, ty

- Flop: Why is this an autocall for you? Or kicker sucks and the guy cbets 3way with a fish in the pot so he probably knows he doesn't have much FE. I would def call max 1 street with tpwk 3way.

- He checks turn so that confirms my thinking that he probably has TJ, KJ, AJ. I expect him to bet a better hand than AJ.

- River, I don't see value since TT is folding so I tank a bit and check (looks a bit stronger so I can still x/r bluff) and he bets. He probably has KJ, AJ and I can have a lot of nutty hands so I check/raise...

I think my riverplay is good :P. But can you eleborate on flopcall? And why ever call 2 streets?

I call flop, since I have top pair . But seriously, CO's steal range is pretty wide I guess, he seems quite losse, so I'd hive him at least 35-40% steal range.

On this flop I expect him to cbet almost 100% of his range. Why? It's okay that the fish is in the party, but I think he rather cbet/gives up than checks and waits for the fish to bet and folds. He is loose enough to cbet wide even with the fish in the party, and he can give up on the turn. Second thing, that your range is never strong. You'd 3bet all your strong value hands, so you will never have the top of your range. And this Jxx is highly unlikely to hit you. So usually you have a very small percentage you can continue with. This is true for the fish as well, you rarely have Jx and almost never 5x or 3x. Since he's loose he might barrel multiple streets with air, since he knows you will never have the top of your range and he can force you into ugly spots. That's why I'm calling :).

I still disagree with the river push, but we will see what others say . If I had KJ, AJ I'm always calling you on the river. Why? You will never have a Q in your oop call range against my cbet (only QJ, which is highly unlikely) so your only value range is 22 and 55 which I'm not going to belive . On the other hand you can turn into bluff some Ax hands or small pockets.

True that I rep thin yes but after I call flop OOP I never have worse than Jx and not many people will check/Raise bluff those hands on the river... This is a spot (river x/r) where people will just rarely bluff. Not many people are ready to bluffcatch in that spot with AJ... Sure fish or rly good regs can but he just seemed solid

Farmarchist, if you hesitate to call on the flop, why do you call preflop?

I would play check/call every street. I don't like the push on the river either, since as AceSteph said, only better hands are going to pay!

Do really think he's folding a jack there or something better?

I can see that this play is ok. Probably you would have been beaten on SD if you had just called there.

I honestly don't think most villains would fold a j here! Your line makes just no sense!
and you also have sd-value!

Allright well my main Q was about the flop .

Sometimes you have the feeling in game to do an unorthodox move and it felt fine here... I felt he would fold a jack but allright :P

I mean I can be wrong... but you don't rep that many qx hands on the river imo!
With how many qx hands are you calling the flop?

That's true but:
- I can have sets too.
- People don't bluff like this and oppo will give me too much credit. The line is just not so bluffheavy I think :). I mean, when I call flop I have already Jx at least and he knows that. I don't think he can give me credit for changing that into a bluff

Yeah but against what hands are you bluffing?
I mean you still have sd-value and you block one jx combination!
You could have the best hand anyways

I just thought I wasn't good enough to make a +ev call here. Didn't give villain credit for bluffs here and no thin vbets. And yes I think he'll fold AJ, Kj, TJ

If he's bluffing we win the pot with a shove anyways
