problems installing HM2/PostgreSQL in win 8

I don't know if this has anything to do with what you are trying to do, but HM2 system is down atm.

Yeah their validation servers are down. Hold on to your panties for a while until they fix it.

can't believe no HM2 guys have replied to the thread on their forums so far, ridiculous imo

On the last page someone said that the americans are sleeping, not sure how much of their support is in Europe. Anyway I am absolutely sure that they are aware of the problem either way. Guess it'll only be a few hours. Someone did say something similar happened in 2009.

The HM registration servers were down for a few hours starting at 4AM GMT today. The problem was not resolved until the server was reset at 11 AM GMT.

We sincerely apologize for our delay in response to this situation. Specific protocols in place for alerts failed to happen coupled with an unfortunate few hour gap in coverage on our support desk that coincided with the time frame. We are working now to ensure that this does not occur again.

What about problem I ask?
I cant instal hm2 (postgre) on win 8.1
I had read on others forums that there is problem instaling postgre on win 8/8.1 but I haven' t find post with solution...
So cos i' m using new laptop my q is how can I install hm2/ postgre on win 8.1 is it posible or should I instal win 7?
