Hi guys,

I was talking to Bart (EagleStar88) recently about maybe starting up an Enlish SSS Study Group in the Self Study and Management thread where people could discuss handhistories, upload videos for review, organise sweat sessions, discuss strategies, etc.

I though i would post it up in here first and see what peoples first impressions would be.

Please feel free to leave any comment/suggestions in this thread or alternatively you can contact me via Skype - stephen.smith711.

Regards,

-Steve

So happy finally got the internet, unforunately i am with rip-off BT but my first choices o2 and Be said my exchange was at max capacity but meh just happy to have internet on a landline now. Got it a day early too was so fed up of the disconnects on my mobile internet today decided to plug in an old BT home hub from the last owner and i was pleasently surprised to find it was working and at 5mb down alot better than the 1.5 they quoted.

Oh i also popped into the casino at leicester square as an old Uni friend was playing some poker there, the game is £1/£2 £50 min buy in £400max buy in didn't play at all as a bit out of my bankroll and i don't play fullring either but was nice to finally see "real" poker.

Hey csnmf, hows it going mate.

Its good news to hear ya finally got your internet connection sorted out.

I used to be have my broadband with BT but in the end they pissed me off too much so when my contract expired i went with Sky instead. So far i've got nothing but compliments for them and a damn sight cheaper they are too

All the best,

-Steve

Hey KennyXX,

The nearest airport to that destination would be the East Midlands Airport and from there you would need to find some sort of transport to get to staffordshire, ie rent a car etc.

Thank You very much, I'll try to search for some kind of transport. I'm little bit afraid of driving a car in UK since You are using other side of road. I can't even imagine myself on the road there tbh

Hi kenny,

You'll be fine as long as you remember to stay on the right side of the road

Rail network might be an option if your not keen on driving kenny:

Like Steve says, East Midlands closest or even Birmingham/Manchester if you can't get a direct flight into East Mids and then train it from there.

Have a good trip buddy, just a shame I'm right down the other end of the country, or we could have met up for a beer.

Best regards,

Bart

Thank You as well,

I found a flight from Prague directly to EM, it should be fine. Since I'm going there with invitation, I'm asking them for some transport from airport by them.

It's so sick, I have runway ~ 400 meters from my house and nothing is flying to UK from there....

However thanks again both of You :)

BTW: where is that cross mentioned above
