This is pretty exciting if you ask me it took me about 1.5 years to grow my bankroll over $100

My tips for multi tabling are to take it slowly add one table at a time and if you feel uncomfortable take a table out again until you are ready. DoNs or 50/50s are good games to multi table because generally its simple decisions to make you are playing super tight because you only have to last longer than half the field of players.

And yep MTTs can be super frustrating Eventually you will learn to deal with it but it still hurts when you go from being chip leader with 15 players left to busting on the final table bubble but it's worth it for the rare occasion (at least for me its rare ♦ ) that you get to a final table and see the players getting knocked out one by one as you get closer to that 1st place, so exciting. You had any decent cashes in MTTs before?

Yes will be reg on the post front, you guys are doing a really great job here loving the site and everyone I have spoken to (you and Callum so far LOL)

I have had a few decent MTT Cashes- couple on Pokerstars and 888 for a few hundred dollars, 3 I think, but must have been lucky as they were all $1 buyins with few thousand entrants.

In late 2009/early 2010 I had a WilliamHill online win $12,000 but DO NOT ask how I managed that lol, as I was very drunk with a friend when we won that one it helped pay for most of my wedding in June 2010!!!

I am still a rookie at this as I have only dabbled here and there and really would like to be a bit more serious on it, I have invested in PK4 and started to look at my BRM to see if I can build it to something I can be proud of. Really need to sit and devise a game plan though

I have started playing a little bit live too, played 3 Casino Tournaments (just £20 Freezeout Buy-in) 1 Came no where, 1 Bubbled the final table and 1 got to final 3 and we split the money for 1,2 and 3rd three ways- £400 each. Around a 100 players in each of them.

Like I say I am still learning the basics (well maybe not the basics but very early material) and looking forward to devising the master plan!!!

Think my best MTT cash was 3rd place in a stars tourney for ~$600

I haven't played MTTs for a while though or even holdem to be honest. I've started playing a lot of Omaha lately and now can't go back to having just 2 cards in my hand Have you ever played? Its a lot more complex and swingy so not really recommended for beginners so much unless you have a strong mindset but i have so much more fun playing it.

If you want to grow your bankroll you are in the right place my friend. What learning materials have you been using here so far? I guess you have read articles and watched videos? How about the free live coachings have you attended any of those yet? How about posting hands in the hand evaluation thread where you can post some hands and our volunteer and professional hand judges can help you spot some leaks in your game. Feel free to go over to the hand eval forums and get involved in the discussions in other peoples hands it's a great way to learn about the game and correct the way you make decisions.

Where are you from if you don't mind me asking? I'm from Yorkshire, Hull to be precise.

Yes I have watched some of the videos and read some of the articles. I also read Pokerplayer magazine.

I tried to register for a live coach but my system kept cutting out for the feed (both Audio and Visual) so within 10 minutes I was ready for throwing laptop out window!!!

I would def be insterested in the Hand Evaluations, could you explain a little around how I set up to have someone look at them, I am not a technophobe by eny manner or means but IT is DEF NOT my strong point.... Is it all my hands that are downloaded or a sample or specific or 1 tournaments worth?

Also how do you get invloved in the discussion of other hands?

Ok first of all Click here to see the hand evaluation board for tournaments anywhere from $0 up to $11. To find it yourself next time just click the forum tab at the top scroll down the different boards until you reach the one called "Tournaments" If you click this then at the top it should say hand evaluations up to $11 and hand evaluations from $12 just click which ever is relevant to you (i would imagine the former for now)

Once you select the relevant link you will be taken to the hand eval board where you will see a list of all the hands submitted by members the ones with a tick next to them mean they have been evaluated already by the hand judges and without a tick haven't. To get involved in the discussion just simply have a look through the hands and share your thoughts. It is not just a place for the coaches and hand judges to discuss the more the merrier its how we learn Sometimes you are pretty much leaving yourself wide open to criticism but i think this is important in poker to take criticism and turn it into something positive.

To post your own hand take a look at this thread and it will give you a step by step guide

Yeah it's great how many tables do you play at the minute? I've played up to 24 in the past but right now i don't play any more than 4 or rarely 6 this is the top of my comfort zone where i can concentrate on all the games

Great thanks. I only started so 2. I have Played more but was like a kid in a sweet factory. An expensive sweet factory at that. Lol. Sticking to 2 until it feels like 1 then add 1 table. Had a horrible morning so far. Got coolered 3 times and sucked out on when I have had overpair 4 times. And I am talking runner runner not draws!!!! Why is I we play poker again? The only game u can do everything right and still lose. Booooo

Yip it's official. Jinxed since I posted on here!!!! Today Played 17 won 5 (dons). Lost when got it in good - 8. Surely that can't be right? 8 times I have been ahead (granted 2 were flips) but the other 6 I was crushing them? And still got sucked out on? No more for today. Scunnered. :-(

Variance can be a real bitch sometimes right?

You just need to concentrate on making the right decisions and knowing you got the money in as favourite and know that in the long run you will see the results. I've seen SnG players have swings of 50, 75 even 100 Buy Ins so you need balls of steel sometimes to play this game we love so much.

You do well to have a break though one of the worst things you can do is carry on playing when you know you are frustrated and tilty and not playing your A game.
