I know the rules of poker but no strategies yet and would like to play cash games.

10 bucks an hour after a few weeks is a little optimistic to say at least, but you should definitely be able to become a winning player!

It depends on what format and stuff you will be playing, so its hard to led you to specific strategies only knowing that you pay cash games. But you are welcome to browse through our No Limit Strategies and articles

I will probably play BSS or MSS. Which is better suited for beginners?

It is definitely easier to play short stacked, both for beginners and for more experienced players. Playing short stacked you will not face that many tough decisions and the postflop game is limited compared to big stack poker. But if you wanna play cash games, I would study both BSS and MSS if I was you. You will need both strategies and usually you will start with 100 BBs on an online cash game table, so BSS could be very useful for you aswell.

So SSS is the easiest to play? Don't you play SSS is cash games or why do you recommend to study BSS and MSS if I want to play cash games?

Exactly. Usually you play with +50 or +100 BBs in your stack if you play regular NL cash games at a online poker sites. Therefore, you would use BSS and MSS more often as a cash poker player.
And yes, SSS is the easiest to learn - as I said, the postflop game is limited with a very short stack so most often you just have to play your hands correctly preflop, when using SSS.

I looked into the articles abit and all say that you should play at 9 position tables.
I checked some poker sites and there are some people playing at 9 position tables but most seem to play at 6 position tables.
Isn't it better then to learn a strategy where you can win at 6-Tables or are there sites where many people play at 9-tables?

I think 6max is the most common in cash games

So the 3 strategys say not to play with less than 7 players.
Are there other strategys then you can use on 6max tables?

I would prefer 9max tables but is it viable learning those strategys or will I not be able to find many people to play against?

6max is more popular in cash. I am not really that aware about the traffic on fullring (9man) tables on other sites, but on Pokerstars I would say it is around 65% who plays 6max cash and 35% that play fullring, so you can definitely find games to play, when you are a fullring cash player.

Ok so I guess its better to learn the strategy for max6 as I will have more available tables when I advance into multi-tabling.

As I said there is more traffic on 6max, but if you play can PokerStars you can easily find action on micro fullring tables too.

I mostly play micro MTT (Tournaments), but I also began my poker career on the cash tables.
