These are just some of my strategies for NL10 that I want to share with you all based on my experience with this limit.
First of all you have to realize when playing NL10, you can't use every strategy NL1000 or NL5000 players are using and create the same winrate. Understand these are still the microstakes and the players here for the most part have 2 gigantic leaks we can exploit:
1) They don't bluff enough to make light calldowns profitable very often.
2) They don't fold enough when they have TPTK type hands. You can stack them very easily with 2p, 3 of a kind, straight/flushy type hands.
Rules of engagement for this limit I live by to make these exploits are:
1) Use better hand selection. Your #1 weapon against players who don't fold often enough but will still bring a lot of decent hands to the table is SELECT BETTER HOLE CARDS.
2) Bet your value hands very well. Each situation is different. But a fairly straightforward approach to betting at this limit will not be exploitable because they will continue to not fold their hands even when they are clearly beat a lot of the time.
3) Use your HUD and play your position well. Don't automatically 3bet AQo from the BU when there's a raise from a very nitty player UTG.
4) Be cautious with your own TPTK type hands especially when facing a raise. Remember they don't bluff often enough to make these calls profitable. If the raise is big enough, fold it, and move on to the next hand. It usually means they have you beat.
I use this very simple and straightforward approach to this limit and I find it's not hard to play in even with the clusterfuck of TAG's and NITS currently polluting our tables.
