Hi, when playing 6max NL2, the max buy in is just 50BB and I am just wondering if anybody could help me out regarding what's the best playing strategy when playing 6max with just 50BB.
Cheers

Hi Separ1232,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com!
What site has a maximum buy-in of 50BB?
Just curious -- I had not encountered this before.
We have a whole section on "Short & midstack Texas Hold'em Strategy"
If I remember correctly (not always a sure thing) to properly play a mid-stack strategy, your opponents should be playing the standard 100BB strategy.
It should serve as a starting point though...
Best of luck :gl:,

I guees on 888Poker you can only play with a <=50bb starting stack on NL2.

only advise i can give is that u play basic ABC poker at micro....
open hands with bet no limping....play only made hands bluff is for higher lvls....
Hi laifstaile,
Do you play the PokerStrategy.com "Mid-Stack Strategy" or do you have a strategy you developed on your own -- or some combination?
Shortly after I joined PokerStrategy.com most rooms made it impossible to use the true "Short-Stack Strategy" which involved buying in with 20BB and playing more-or-less push/fold. It also needed full-ring tables.
