Hi Bogdan,

Good to hear from you. Thanks for marking all my homework up to Lesson 6 and giving me all the encouragement that I needed to hear. Soon I will be posting to you my Lesson 7 and 8.

I have been very busy going over all the training videos and making notes.

My poker games are going very well and I enjoy all of them. Last Sunday I played at Pokerstars for Guinness World Record and I won two free tickets. I played and these were my results:

Lesson 7 Homework:

Question 1: Post a hand for evaluation where you have played on a 6-max table (short-handed). (Post your hand in the No Limit: Hand Evaluations forum, and provide a link to your hand in your private thread.)

Answer 1: Poker Stars 450+50 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t15/t30 Blinds - 6 players - http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2438347
The DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

BB: t1545 51.50 BBs
UTG: t1545 51.50 BBs
MP: t1455 48.50 BBs
CO: t1425 47.50 BBs
Hero (BTN): t1455 48.50 BBs
SB: t1575 52.50 BBs

Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is BTN with 9c Kd
2 folds, CO calls t30, Hero calls t30, SB calls t15, BB checks

Flop: (t120) 4d Qc Kc (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, CO checks, Hero checks

Turn: (t120) Qd (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets t30, CO folds, Hero calls t30, SB folds

River: (t180) Kh (2 players)
BB bets t30, Hero raises to t1395 all in, BB calls t1365

Final Pot: t2970
BB shows Th Qh (a full house, Queens full of Kings)
Hero shows 9c Kd (a full house, Kings full of Queens)
Hero wins t2970

Preflop: I am on the button late position my equity was 29.49% with 9ckd the other three players on random each had equity 23.50% I was a bit worried that my hand was not that strong so I just called.

Flop: Evaluating my own hand I realized that checking was a mistake I should of raised t180 as my hand equity increased to 59.91%. At that point I checked because I was worried that they all would fold.

Turn: My hand became very strong hand: equity 83.38% and I should of raised t360 but I chose to call as I was worried that if I raised that much my opponent might fold.

River: Now I couldn't resisted I had a very strong hand: equity 97.68% I went All-in and won the game!

Should I of played this hand by raising in a different way or was I right the way I slow played this hand?

Question 2: Evaluate one of the hands submitted by other members

Answer 2: This is the Link of my Evaluate of another member: RE: Sh Nl10 Zoom 28 - 3 BU OR J9s vs BB 3B

Question 3: Consider the following situation:

$10 NL Hold'em (6 handed)

Stacks & Stats:
UTG ($10)
MP ($10)
CO ($10)
BU($10)
SB ($10)
BB (Hero) ($10)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5heart , 4heart
2 folds, CO raises to $0.40, BU calls $0.40, SB calls $0.40, Hero calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.60) 3spade , 2Heart , Qheart (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.20, CO Raises All-in, BU calls All-in, SB folds, Hero...

What action would you take, and why?

Answer 3: Preflop I have a very weak hand: equity 22.71% I would call $0.40 and review my hand on the flop

Flop: My equity 50.70% with 15 outs as I have the chance to hit Flushdraw and OESD. It is a very strong hand I would go All-in.

Question 4: Consider the following situation:

$10 NL Hold'em (6 handed)

Stacks & Stats:
UTG ($10)
MP ($10)
CO (Hero) ($10)
BU($10)
SB ($10)
BB ($10)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Aclub , Kspade
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, BU calls $0.40, SB calls $0.40, BB calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.60) Aspade , 4club , 4diamond (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $1.20, Hero...

What action would you take, and why?

Answer 4: I would raise to $2.40 as I have a strong hand equity 66.97%. I could hit 3 of a kind or even a Full House.

Preflop: Hero is BU with 8heart , 9heart
4 folds, Hero raises to $4.00, 3 folds, BB calls $4.00

Flop: ($8.50) 3heart , 6Heart , 8diamond (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $5.50 BB calls $5.50

Turn: ($19.50) Jheart (2 players)
BB checks, Hero...

What action would you take, and why?

Answer 3: I would go all-in as Hero's equity 94.97% with a flushdraw.

Good job on the last 2 homeworks !!!

L7, Q:

While I'm not a tournament coach I think that you should not call this really weak hand preflop. Postflop looks fine.

L8, Q:

Again it's a tournament hand (and this a cash game beginners course) but I think you should have not played that flop passive 4 way. I wouldn't check back but rather bet.

The rest looks fine.
