Hey Uri,
I thought the coaching was great and liked the live play at the end. I think it could be a cool idea to do it a little every week, maybe you can try highlight spots where you are taking different lines to the person you've just reviewed etc
Hi Uri,
You told in one of your latest coaches that you are lack videos to analyze.
I am playing NL25 FR zoom. May I send one video?
Yes! Please do. I am in fact lacking videos, and am even accepting second videos from members I've already analyzed.
no idea why more of you are not jumping on this, maybe from the fear of having your sn or your game exposed? Just cover your sn if that's the issue and put that ego away, we all have leaks and can improve and you have an opportunity to get a lot of great advice from a very smart guy. bump!
id love to join but im still a newbie (and not afraid to admit it lol) and playing nl2 for time being, so i guess maybe once (if ever) i move up in stakes...
btw how do i join your training session though, even if i cant send a video to be reviewed id love to join your coaching session ![]()
is it under normal coaching tab, because ive seen people sending you friend requests so was thinking it could be something different from normal coaching session?
cheers,
mumu
Hi Uri! I just recorded a session playing nl50 zoom. Can i send the video to you?
Regarding the Skype name, I tried to search you there but there where several dudes from Israel there. Do you happen to be the guy on the picture that is wearing a purple shirt and leaning on a fence?
best regards: Veini
So, where can i watch your video reviews? If thats possible at all, maybe you have to be online when you are doing your coaching review... or something like that?
cheers,
mumu
you can search for me on skype by email: shavuri@gmail.com
Please do send the video! ![]()
iMumu: you should be online, it's every thursday evening. They are also recorded on justintv though so you can watch them t here. It is under the normal coaching tab.

Thanks!
I'm also interested in sending a video, if it's still possible ![]()
thx,
Fran
btw. It would be NL25 zoom SH
Hi Uri!
We were just talking about the EV of a semibluff shove during the coaching. I meant to post these graphs but it seems I can't post URLs in chat, so I'm asking here. ![]()
Do these graphs look correct to you?
The X axis is the SPR, the Y axis is the minimum equity required vs villain's calling range.
10% FE

(X = SPR, Y = required equity vs villain's calling range)
20% FE

(X = SPR, Y = required equity vs villain's calling range)
30% FE

(X = SPR, Y = required equity vs villain's calling range)
40% FE

(X = SPR, Y = required equity vs villain's calling range)
50% FE

(X = SPR, Y = required equity vs villain's calling range)
The way you would use these is by estimating how much FE you have in a spot, estimating the equity vs villain's calling range, and checking on the right graph that your equity is > the required equity. If so, the semibluff is +EV.
The formula I used was:
MinEquityVsCallingRange = [SPR - FE/(1 - FE)] / (1 + 2*SPR)
so I plotted the function
y = [x - FE/(1 - FE)] / (1 + 2x)
with different values of FE.

Wow, that is really cool, outspan!
the "required equity" is break-even equity, is it not?
Cheers,
