i was just taking a stab at heads up play, played some games with a minimum stack, doubled up 3 times and sat down deep on a 4th table, knowing that in reality im only playing 2 SSS BI.

anyway, this hand comes up

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.25/$0.5 No-Limit Hold'em (2 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BB$110.55:///////;SB(Hero)$53.35:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q:s, J:s.
Hero raises to $1.50, BB raises to $5.00, Hero calls $3.50.

Flop: ($10) J:h, Q:h, 7:h (2 players)
BB bets $7.00, Hero raises to $20.00, BB raises to $105.55, Hero calls $28.35.

Turn: ($163.9) T:c (0 players)
Hero gets uncalled bet back.

River: ($163.9) 2:d (0 players)
Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $135.55.
Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, queens and jacks(Q:s J:s).
BB shows a pair of aces(A:d A:h).

Hero wins with two pairs, queens and jacks(Q:s J:s).

checked in equilator and he was ahead on the flop.

any thoughts?

I would never fold top 2pair HU on the flop, his range is way too large.

no he was very cool we were chatting while playing because i used to see him in FR games and he said he has loads of HUD stats on me.

he wasnt too happy about it, i asked him to check with an odds calculator he said he was slightly ahead and i said sorry i could not have folded it.

a few hands later i was holding KK and we had 4 preflop raises and he shoved with AK and i stacked him again. for the 3rd time :)

Could you explain to me what does 2 SSS BI means regarding you are playing HU?

Only question you should ask yourself if your call pf is good or not. this mainly depends on his 3betting % pf.

Postflop it's an easy go broke on a 3bet pot with top two.
