I have been thinking about what the best approach as OOP vs loose IP players. I used to think that as OOP I should 3bet wider to punish & decrease the SPR thereby decrease my positional disadvantage. But on the other hand I'm building a big pot OOP. Also the 3bets have little to no Fe. I don't think over calling/defending is not good considering the rake will eat us. Calling/defending a normal range will allow them to steal many blinds uncontested. What do you guys think?

Loose is a bit unspecific term. Loose-passive is way different from loose-aggressive.
Versus loose-passives the position doesn't matter that much. They shouldn't be the problem.
Loose-aggressives can be a problem. But there are different kind of aggros. Some have more controlled aggression and they think. Some are total cannonballs, doing crazy stuff. And versus both our strategy should be different.
Versus thinking aggros being oop is a pain. Unless there are good customers on the table, consider moving out.
Versus gamblers I think calling has a lot of upside. If they cbet a lot and are happy to stack off with all kinds of hands, getting value for our hits shouldn't be a problem. Don't start to 3bet wide, as then your range is not beating his range that much. Stick to 3betting with premium hands = high cards, double suited.
