PLO Buffet

Time: 20th of April 2017, Thursday at 20:30 CET
Status: Basic+
Target Group: All PLO players, regardless of stakes

It's time to vote for the next serving! You can choose up to three topics, and the ones with the most votes at Tuesday 18th day will be added to the Menu. Hi Ville! PLO Spin & Gos have appeared at Stars today :f_love: I think they deserve to be discussed on one of the nearest Thursdays, if not this one, and possibly undergo some basic analysis in PokerJuice!

Honestly at the moment I have no clue on how to approach those. Long time ago I tried to woke discussion on how to approach PLO 50/50 or DON's as preflop equities run so close but it never really happened. Mainly because the traffic in those was so abysmal that there wasn't any reason to even try to play them.

Definitely an interesting topic as the fact that most ranges are close to 50/50 and it's pot limit, we can't gain edge by having better shove-fold game with shallow stacks. I will add it as an appetizer.

My personal style involves a lot of limping IP so that the postflop SPR is bigger. I'm missing out on a lot of fold equity, though; should definitely have a decently large minraising range in addition to the limp/flatting and limp/3betting ones, and should definitely include the 'raise over limp' stat into my HUD in addition to the 3bet stat.
