Anybody beating 8-Game on stars?

I only play 8-Game sometimes for fun, but the traffic isn't much.
That makes it tough with most likely the same players the whole time.

Do you use FPDB to track games?
I'm interested in winning players' bb/100 for different games in the mix.
Especially Capped PLO.

I only use HM2 and I don't track my mixed games.

You dont need to be a pro to win money online. Just choose your games wise.

It's not beatable at smallstakes the NL and PLO rounds with a 40bb cap because of the rake. It was a pretty crap move by amayastars to limit the game that way.

I can understand capping it at 100bb since these games can get pretty deepstacked, and the NL and PLO specialists would get a good edge at high stakes. But 40bb cap is ridiculous!

Hmmm... The 8-Game tournaments are not capped in the NLHE and PLO rounds.
I've not played 8-Game cash.

I'll have a look though.

Edit: I just played a cycle of 8 games, and sure enough, the NLHE and PLO rounds were capped. From what I saw of the $0.20/$0.40 table I was at, the game should be beatable. Of all the games I've played at Stars, the level of play was among the lowest. Or I just got lucky

That will be tough. There aren't to many 8 game cash game tables on any limit and than it's tough to get a decent sample.

Just move up to nosebleed stakes.
I think you will get alot of action if you are a unknown player. The worse you play so more action you will get.

if you want to lose a lot of money it's a good strategy to play with the best players in the 8 game world.

What about the microstakes tournaments? How's the playing field there?
