ChartLoader with LibreOffice / Excel

I had a project, in progress also using Excel, that realizes the same or pretty short os FlopZilla.

Here we've QQ on the Flop 66A

@trombini The main idea was to share a basic worksheet model so other players can tweak it the way they want/need. I also have the project to build a table windows management tool for everyone. That won't be exactly a program because poker rooms have some strict policies but it will be a script made on Autoit. It doesn't break any rules as long it doesn't perform any calculation or decision making actions and it's allowed by Pstars and other rooms. I'm more a C#/C++/Python/Lua guy but was fun to play around with macros in my free time. I plan to make an other one for Spins adding position vs position and also a way to setup charts more easily/faster using ranges you get from equilab and other tools for the lazy poker players hehe.
Mostly i use libreoffice since it's license free but from LibreOffice Calc you can export to excel format or whatever format you like.
If you have projects on contact me, we can talk about it or share ideas.

I tried to use this with Excel but for some reason I'm missing those buttons on top of the file. Any idea why? Could it be that the files are not compatible with MS Excel?

Did you activate the Macros La55i ?

It didn't ask me to. I have a similar Excel with macros that has that kind of buttons, and when I open it for the first time --> it ask me to allow editing and then it asks me to allow the macros. But this file didn't ask me to allow macros

Also, if I don't allow macros in the excel I use, I see the buttons but they just don't work. Now in your file the buttons weren't there.

Just checked right now on a virtual machine, actuallty once i export the worksheet from LibreOffice to Excel format file. The macros are converted in the process but for some reason there is an compatibility problem between LibreOffice and Excel Macros interpreter. Thanks to let me know about it La55i, i'll look into it to see how i can convert it and keep the macros compatible between the LibreOffice and Excel.

Yea no problem I have also noticed that the macros in the excel I use won't work with any other software than MS Excel.

Yes you are right la55i, even sometimes between versions of MsOffice you might find some VBA depreciated functions but no big deal i'll just write it directly from Excel so no more troubles of convertion. I appreciate the feedback la55i

First Excel Worksheet has been Updated, should work with MS Office.

Clicked the link and it took me to Google Sheets --> file --> download as --> Microsoft Excel (.xlsx).. So I hope I did everything correctly.

When I saved it to my laptop and opened it in MS Excel, it asked me to allow editing but didn't ask me to allow macros. This time the buttons were visible, but when I clicked them nothing happened. But I could drag them around. So instead of buttons they looked like movable objects.

Maybe because they were in Design mode ? In excel go to developer ribbon then click on Design Mode.
If you don't see the Developer ribbon go to Excel Options then Customize Ribbon and tick the Developer Option in Main Tabs.Also the file isn't a .xlsx but a .xlsm.
I just changed the file uploader service instead of Google Drive so the extension of the file shouldn't change now

Now this works Didn't have to click the Design Mode. I think the problem was that Google Sheets converted the file to .xlsx.

I think this is developed more for tournaments because there are so many different stack sizes?
I would love to have that kind of an Excel with ranges vs different positions with different open sizes and also vs 3bet buttons and so on But of course this is your project and you do what you want to do. So far these look very good, so good job

The buttons I have look like this. There are open ranges, ranges vs different positions against different sizings, range vs an open +caller, ranges vs 3bet IP and vs 3bet OOP (isn't visible in that pic because on BTN we can't be OOP).

This system is perfect for me. Only problem is that I can't have ranges vs fish, regulars and unknown guys in same file like you have here.

Yes you are totally right, i've made it for SNGs @ Start and Position vs Position is a good idea.
I Started Position vs Position on 3H-Spins ChartLoader, i'll rewritte the Excel version for Spins.
Range vs Fish / Reg / Average is a must to i think, so i implemented them since start.
Once i'm sure the two excel versions work fine i'll add the position vs position on the 1st one.
For Position vs Position and Specific Bet Sizing, colors on the chart can be used.

Excel Version for 3-Handed or Spins has been updated. Hopefully works well

so with this sheet can we upload our own charts or is this restricted to the charts u have in the original?

@ohpleez77 You can save your own chart using the libreoffice or ms office sheet, use your own colors for your own actions. No pre-made chart so no restrictions about the charts you want to save.
