No, there is no other explanation available at the moment.
I'm a bit worried that you might be using a different language, so these instructions might not make sense. Let me know.

Try these:
 1: Copy the sheet — Click "File" on the menu, then "Make a Copy". In the popup, make sure "My Drive" is selected as the folder.
 2: Mark a hand — Let's say we want to Raise AA if we are first to act. Click the green "RFI" square. Now click the "Paint format" button. It looks like this: . Finally, click the AA square. It should turn green.
