I accidentally closed postgres from my processes and when i started hm2 it created a new database which is empty.How to get back my old data ? Plz help !

Are you using postgres 8.3 or 8.4?
Do you have pgadmin?
pgadmin is a separate download that you can find here:
http://www.pgadmin.org/download/
With this tool you can examine all of your existing postgres databases.
When you find the one you want, you (should | will) be able to point HM2 at it.
What OS are you using?
When you're ready to give it a try, add me in the community tool, and we can use skype / teamviewer and I can show you how, then you can do it on your own.
This is all assuming that your original database didn't get so horribly corrupted that it is no longer usable.
HM support might be able to help in that case, but I couldn't.
Also,
Do you archive all your hand history files?
If worst comes to worst, you can always re-create your database.
if you don't care about marked hands and stuff I'd say , create new database , import hands from C:\HM2archive
This is the best way to optimise your database anyway, so in the meanwhile your database is optimised:)

How can i see what version of postgres i use ?
I use Win7x64 professional.I don 't have pg admin and i am not sure what to download from the link you gave me.
I think in HM2 there should be a way to import my old database.I just don't know where it is .
You may not need to download anything.
Search your drive for pgadmin
Apparently, it is included in new installs.
To find out your version, look in your list of services.
Fastest way to do that is to run "services.msc" which will list them.

In HM2 try this:
On the v bottom of the window, just to the left of the current user's name it says, "HoldemManager2"
Click it.
All the databases that HM2 knows about are listed on the left.

I did that and there were 2 databases.I clicked and activated the 2nd and now i have more info.But i lost the past 2 months.Wtf i don't know.Why is it so complicated ?

I'm not sure what you originally made to loose your database. But you can import all your hands via import folder from c:\hm2archive.
