Hi everyone,
I would like to present to you PokerRanger2, the feature-rich successor of PokerRanger1 for No-Limit Texas Hold'em, with which you can analyze a lot of spots very comfortably. We have implemented a large range of features from our users' wishes. Apart from covering most of functions of (Power) Equilab, Flopzilla (Pro), Combonator and partly even CardrunnersEV, we have developed many additional functions. We thank all of you for your great feedback and contributon over the last year!! We will continue improving PokerRanger2. Now even more frequent than before.
I have developed this software in the first instance to improve my own game substantially.
As many poker players have been testing it for some time, I have been able to continously improve it, so that it is a very valuable tool for me and my poker friends now.
- "How is this software of use for me?"
PokerRanger is a toolset to determine board hit probabilities (pair, twopair etc.) for range vs. range, to show equities of a range clearly in a matrix and to analyze EV and FE in different spots - to name only three of the many functions. There is even an importer tool for latest HEM/PT hand histories. You can, e.g., use the importer to automatically create EV range trees from them. Everything works with up to 10 players. You can use almost every function directly from the main window, e.g. designing two ranges at the same time. This speeds up your range analysis enormously. Extra windows allow for detailed range management.
- "And how can it help me?"
For example, you can determine whether it is +EV to raise a gutshot draw on a board, where villain folds third pair and worse. Or you can find out which range makes 4-bet/ship profitable preflop against a specific 3-bet range. Each preflop/postflop spot is imaginable. You can also segment your range into groups based on hand strengths, colorize them, and continue analysis with each particular group.
PokerRanger has many other features and I will continuously enhance it based on the feedback of other players.
There is websites offering material, books have been writting referring to PokerRanger and much more.
- "How can I learn more?"
The homepage offers:
- A list of features with screenshots and descriptions,
- a short video and
- the possibility to test it for free!
The trial version is free, while the full version is available in various subscription packages to best fit your needs. We also have promotion weeks at the moment. Also you get for a short time a cashback of 8.99€ as PokerRanger1 customer. At the moment, you can even combine both of these offers!
- "What is novel/better with PokerRanger2 new?"
We have multiway functionality for up to 10 players now (for all functions!), a docking system to perfectly customize PokerRanger2 to your screen (and everything is resizable), history views, tree views for ranges with color groups, weighted ranges, expected value trees (like in CardrunnersEV but yet easier to use), and much more. PokerRanger2 is also available for MacOS. And this is only the starting point. We have many more features in mind and will release them part by part. You get all updates automatically with a running subscription.
- "Can I use my PokerRanger1 trees?"
Yes. PokerRanger2 automatically recognizes when PokerRanger1 is installed and offers to import the ranges. The usual way of importing .prt trees works, too, of course.
- "Why are you allowed to advertise here?"
PokerStrategy has explicitly authorized this thread because the tool serves to improve your game. I do not just want to advertise here;
I seek to develop a tool which helps to analyze and improve your own game in an easier way than ever before. With your support, I can enhance PokerRanger to achieve this ambitious goal. ![]()
