Nothing good to say, but I have to update this blog, its been too rusty already.

They still love me on ipoker.
Looks like all I can do there is to lose money.
Network itself is infested with bots with pretty transparent patterns but it looks like every time I choose to exploit them I end up losing.

Example :

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
SB ($25.75)
BB ($11.65)
UTG ($9.86)
UTG+1 ($8.44)
CO ($10.60)
Hero ($12.80)

Dealt to Hero A♥ Q♦

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, fold, BB raises to $1.20, Hero raises to $12.80 (AI), BB calls $10.45 (AI)

FLOP ($23.35) 5♠ 9♦ 6♠

TURN ($23.35) 5♠ 9♦ 6♠ A♣

RIVER ($23.35) 5♠ 9♦ 6♠ A♣ 7♥

Hero shows A♥ Q♦
(Pre 25%, Flop 14.3%, Turn 6.8%)

BB shows K♥ A♦
(Pre 75%, Flop 85.7%, Turn 93.2%)

BB wins $21.80

BB is guy who 3b 14% from bb. Generally 10%.
since I dont want to play guessing game postflop, and my hand is strong I just shove and expecting him to fold.
And he turn out to have AK.

Example 2:

I called just couse bb is 20% 3b over 600 hands.
Sqeeze pretty much every time he has chandce.

So plan was to shove over hes 3b. If I had QQ+ I would call ofc.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
SB ($12.51)
BB ($13.99)
UTG ($13.48)
CO ($10)
Hero ($10.10)

Dealt to Hero A♣ K♦

UTG raises to $0.30, fold, Hero calls $0.30, fold, BB raises to $1.30, fold, Hero raises to $10.10 (AI), BB calls $8.80

FLOP ($20.55) 2♥ 9♣ K♣

TURN ($20.55) 2♥ 9♣ K♣ 3♦

RIVER ($20.55) 2♥ 9♣ K♣ 3♦ J♦

Hero shows A♣ K♦
(Pre 30%, Flop 3.9%, Turn 0.0%)

BB shows K♠ K♥
(Pre 70%, Flop 96.1%, Turn 100.0%)

BB wins $19.18

And it turned out like this...

Maybe am playing too much of this leveling game, and it costs me money, but its just to brutal.

I am so confused about poker this days.
the more I study and play the bloddy game the more confused I get and the worst it gets.
But fuck it I wont give up ....it must be brakthru somewhere near.

Here are hands I posted on evaluation forums for today:

1. Nl10 Sh Kk

2. NL10 SH A6s

3. Nl10 SH AQ

update time again .
This weekend I took a brake from poker.
Tryed my best to solve rubics cube, wend on frinends wedding, got drunk, had some fun.Oh yeah forgot watch 25 series of serbian tv series named "Vratice se rode."
Took me pretty much whole day to do it :)
Yesterday I found really good post on 2+2 about how to improve your game.
Here is the link.
So I spent like 2hours for hand reading practice of my old hand history.
I was amazed how many leaks I found on my own game.
Here are some :

1) bluffing in bad spot
a) when river is blank
b) when I bet turn, opp calls, I bet river again
c) when opp is obviously a calling station
d) when I feel its bad spot to bluff!
2) check/calling river
a) I check/call 1 or 2 streets and facing river bet
b) I cbet flop, bet turn, and with I check/call river <TP
3) I bet river and call raise
a) I go for 3 streets of value and facing a raise
b) I bet, check, bet - facing a raise
c) some draws hit and he raises/min-raises

Overall I tend to realise that I am not that unlucky , its just that I play high variance poker and dont think about ranges that often .

so I took some action.
I spoke with my pokerbuddy DemonRax and he made good observation point, where he said, that spewing 5bis on tilt and bad beats are moajor issues in our game.
More important are those small mistkaes which adds up to big losses.
Like 50bb spew bluff or call c/raise on rivere etc.
So we makde a deal to open fewer tables, take pen and paper and write down all mistakes we make during the session.
Its amazing to see what that small thing does to your game.
suddenly my play looks much more as real poker, I fold marginal hands, dont 3b spew etc.
I have played 2, 4 table session od 350 hands each with noting system and trying to put my opponents on ranges .
I was suprised how accurate my readings were.
I end up day pretty good and Rax as well have good results with it.

Here is my graph of todays play:

I also decided to ditch a HUD, since I rely too much on it and often level myslelf into doing sutpid spewy mistakes, based on stats without proper sample size.
So for some time am gonna stick with it till I adop or find other solution.

I finally feel optimistic and happy about my play.
Looks like finally it hits me in head where I need to improve and found a way how to do it properly.

Am off to bed now, its past 10 pm :)

Looks familiar ;)

Well, as I said when we talked - it's easier to recognize the problem but much tougher to fix it and apply in practice.

Let's keep working hard and it will come eventually. Good luck!
