Party poker still loves me a ton.

In this one I knew I am beaten and hes river bet was clearly for value, it just I called out of desperation... :f_confused:

As it can be seen in this examples, I am loosing an edge and really afraid to make some moves I would do otherwise, not playing agressivley, due to evident bad luck and losing money...

Dont know should I continue prsuing this damn cities, or just drop it , withdraw my money from party and go study for 100 yeras, come back and play on Lucky ace.
At least they dont have every board staight or flush draws...

Will see.

Goin to visit some ppl at camp near the river, drink couple of beers and make few jumps from the trees in the water.

Cya

Dear Mr S. Ology,

It is a well-known fact that you will not improve your poker until you stop posting bad beats in your blog. For a hand to appear in your blog it must be either (a) funny or (b) difficult.

I hope this clarifies matters.

Yours sincerely,

A. G. Rumpy-Bastard (Professor)

Thx you very much professor.
You know as much as I appreciate your ideas and effort I cant find not many funny things this day at poker, so at least I want to show how party poker treats me with wellcome and warmth

I just went busto there and closed account.
I will cut myself an hand personally if I ever put single cent on that site.
After this shit here lucky ace looks like real diamond.
I dont knwo what was I thinking to belive that I can get anything good out of party poker, when everytime I played there I got same shit pretty much.

I wont post hands, but just mention that my AA lost against 57o we went allin on 5K9r board.
Than I decided to play a bit of nl25 since it was more than obvious that Iwill lose it all.

Since i was last hand I will show it :

Yes you are correct as usual , altho it would be nice for once to end up with winning hand,at least when I hit, or hitting my draw once in a life time.

Well being negative about it wont get me far, for sure, so its time to move forward and forget about this whole thing with party poker.
Wont play there and period.
Tons of other places to play and in fact I like LA just enough to stay there for some time.
I think I will dedicate more time to study than to play, since I want to fully digest this party thing from my system.

Anyways off the record I am moving at the end of this month, so me, my rommie, sister and couple of friends are going to start workin heavily on renowating my new appartment.
It will be tons of work but I am looking towards to it ,since after loong time I will be living on my own again, and hopefully this time for good.

Had a chat with one of pokerhouses today about first depost bonus, here is how it went:

Sinn: hi, I have a question about first deposit bonus
Sinn: if I deposit 200$ that means I will receive 400 of bonus
Sinn: how much time do I have to clear it ?
Delia: you have 60 days to clear the bonus
Sinn: ok, thx
Sinn: and how bonus is payed out ?
Delia: the bonus123 is a 200% bonus
Delia: if you deposit $200, you will receive $400 bonus
Sinn: so I wonder how is payed out
Delia: it is paid once you earn the total amount of poker points
Delia: for a $200 deposit 40000 Poker Points to get $400 bonus
Sinn: so if I clear 30k points for example
Sinn: I get nothing?
Delia: I am sorry but the bonus is not paid in parts
Sinn: I get it
Sinn: how much poker points is earned for 1$ of rake ?
Delia: You get 1 PokerPoints for every 10 dollar cent or 1.5 PokerPoints for every 10 Euro cent that you contribute to the rake.
Sinn: so its 10 points for 1$
Sinn: which means that Ihave to rake 4000$ to receive 400$ bonus?
Delia: yes
Delia: you can contact us when your bonus is about to expire and we will ask the manager if it is possible to extend it

Now that I know that I can see, if its possbile to extend my bonus period I am sure am gonna grind there nl10 and nl20 ... NOT lol
I need to rake someone a decent used car, so they will pay me out 400$ of bonus...ridicilus

Well I dissagree that it should be free money, its just too brutal to lock you in such a impossible deal and give you some false expectations ...dont you think ?

Everything that they offer "for free" is in most cases more expensive than if you pay it. Only good players, who play nl50+ can rake that much without loosing money they have deposited.

I don't think bonus whoring is ever profitable at micros, even with huge volume. They offer you 200% bonus and you deposit thinking "easy money". Few days later you realise that you can't clear bonus like that. You start to add tables. You clear bonus faster, but you find yourself loosing your original deposit money bc you are not focused enough anymore. Now you try to play above your bankroll 1 or 2 tabling. Your play is better, but you miss volume again. Then you go further into bustoland...

That is the reason why I won't open account at Pokerstars and few other rooms untill (if ever!!!) I become good enough to play nl50-nl100, and ofc be rolled for that. I don't want to put 200usd to PS and miss my chance to clear entire bonus.

Today poker games/rooms are favoring mid stakes players who put enough volume to beat competition and rake. Rake at micros is insane. Reason for that is simple. Poker rooms know that most of their proffit comes from micros because of huge field and volume. Also, weekend players tend to deposit 20, 40, 100usd and have fun few days untill they loose it. They don't care much. They buy 6pack of beer and play. They have fun.

I don't think that is ever profitable below nl25. With solid volume and rakeback/bonuses you can climb up if you play good enough. Below nl25 it is pure tilt and waste of time, unless you play for fun.

well, party poker had 30% rakeback for deposit bonus. Not 10%. And 90days to clear that. So it's ok I gues. :f_biggrin: And it is paid in parts so it would be easier. But yeah, don't concentrate on that :f_biggrin: Never had I did that.

I don't think you should bother chasing rakeback and bonus deals my friend. Just find a site with software that you like, and stay there! You've been on so many different sites over a pretty short period.

Fix up your game, grind away, and resolve any bad feelings and issues you have :)

Rakeback deal is essential to survive micros. It is so nice when you loose few BIs and few days later you recieve rb. I don't think that any VIP program can give you that at this stakes. At Party I have almost 20 cities and 12usd only. 10PPs for one reveal, and 1USD of rake for two PP so it was like 10+ rb. Bad deal for micros I guess.

Yeah indeed.

But he's got a few sites with rakeback deals. So what I'm saying is he should just stick to one he likes, and just try and get rid of the bad feelings he has towards the software, bad beats, and just play. Won't help changing sites all the time, just because of some beats and feelings.

But yeah, i miss ft too :( Don't get RB on PS, but it's the only software i don't wanna tear my eye balls out other than ft

@ Oscar

Hi friend, yeah I am doing fine thx.
I am often online but somehow we miss each other.
Hope to catch you this days.

@ Jim & KGB

Yeah guys you are both right, its foolish to play without RB and more foolish to look for new pokersite after couple of downswings.
I am looking for alternative site for other reasons, like one to boost my BR with FDB+rb or other promotions like they have at pokersavy.
I found that pokerhaven deal thru pokerstrategy looks promising so I might give a shot there.
BGesides that lucky ace it still ok, so stayign there for some time aswell

Today I felt I want to puke couse of all bad beats and tons of nasty setups.
I am gonna play till the end of this week than am off to hollydays and will forget about crewl world of poker and hopefully when I come back I wont have any love towards it and also no need to play anymore....just kidding.
Actually I played pretty ok during all day, with exception of one bi spewd on bluff and another on tilt when I push 44 against guy who 3bets 8 times in 2 orbit.
He called me with AJ and hit A on flop... standard as well.
Besides that I can say I played pretty solid poker today.
I ve figured out that those tilt plays costme lots of money at the end of the day.
For example I played session with 400 hands and end b/e after I spew 1bi on bluff which would ended 100bb up, same goes with 44 hand which I could of fold and save myself 100bb , so thats 200 bb which at my winrate of 3bb/100 is like 7k hands....

I watched amazing video series yesterday on psychology video section its called Poker psychology, which consist of 6 parts and discovered tons of cewl stuff.
One of my issues in live as poker player and also in rl is being highly disorganized.
Only 2 stuff I do regularly by schedule are :
8 am conditional training for box
18:30 - another boxing training
besides that am all on random shit.
Poker wise it means that I sit to play session totally on random, without plan how much to play.
Not to mention my eating and sleeping habits...
I made a promise to myself to change that and I am staring to work on that one tomorrow.
At 10 am sharp am gonna be here, and work on reading poker mindset for 1h and watch a video for another 1h .

If 44 hand was against villain that use to 3bet you so frequently and liberally, it was a +EV push. Against his range you are mostly slight ahead + fold equity. Any pp does the job. It was just variance thing. Good play.
