I knew he was raising me with nothing, he was getting frustrated before on my cbets, but look at the call on the turn. And you know what he types?
He said before he called watch I make my straight now. IS this for real?

you dont have to put your self into this spots at nl 50 . given your read was a fine play but it is a high variance play and its something i personaly hate in poker . when you hit your ace on turn you have to go with the hand . he sucks out ... but thats poker ... cant do nothing about it ...

btw why dont you post in the nl50 forum ? this is >=nl100 :)

Ye I know its a bit higher variance, but going with reads and stuff often, will make u a better player. I mean I'm not just playing to win money at NL50 I'm playing to become a better player. And to be able to play against the NL100 players etc. etc. the higher u go the more its reads and stuff

3betting the flop is bad imo, as you should get called only by sets. or 2-pair.
here the guy is a lucky donk nothing you can do about it.

you played this hand pretty horribly. If you think he had nothing (he had you beat btw) you should just call, raising will let worse hands folds and better hands call.

I also don't understand your reasoning; typically, you should fold on the flop. If you did this because of a read, plz post the range you assume villain has.
