Hey all,

I'm new to the site so I don't know how this works. Do I have to have a certain level membership to take advantage of this or is it open to all? Right now I'm giving the site a test run.

Thanks

I'm no coach but your raise on the flop does nothing. There aren't very many draws that will fold to odds of 3.55:1. We don't want to fold out weaker hands that we beat and if the other player will call down light then we should be raising more for value. With out stats it hard to say if we should be raising but a raise of 2.2x is just as bad as the other players min 3 bet oop pre. This may even be a 4 bet pre. In any case you can't really fold pre.

Make it 6.5x to go pre. You want to make sure you get all the money in. It should have been at least 5x to go anyway.

Flop 3/4
Turn 60%
River all in

His stack on the flop if we make it 0.13 to go.

1.44-0.13=1.31

The pot on the flop

0.13+0.13+0.01=0.27

SPR= 1.31/0.27=4.85

We bet 3/4

0.27(3/4)=0.20

The pot on the turn

0.27+0.20+0.20=0.67

His stack 1.31-0.20=1.11

We bet 60%

0.67(0.60)=0.40

The river pot

0.67+0.40+0.40=1.47

His stack 1.11-0.40=0.71

26.10.2012 not yet known in todays coachin we will talk about exactlky what YOU want. everything is possible. hand evaluation, the poker mind set, trash talk, jokes, whatever you can think off Your feedback is wanted! We want to know how you like the coaching and how we can improve. Please share your feedback in this thread!

Hi grummeler!

My ideas for today:

-learning the best hand evaluating process/form (every single step in HM, advices, tips&tricks, etc.) - so the best attitude

-note-taking skills (+learning) (during poker videos/coachings) - the most effective solutions and forms

Thank You! See you later... :)

MP: $20.65 (206.5 bb)
CO: $8.99 (89.9 bb) --> 57/4, 135 hands

MP folds, CO calls $0.10, BTN folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $0.50, CO calls $0.40, SB calls $0.40

Flop: ($1.50) 8 Q J (3 players)

Turn: ($4.50) J (2 players)
Hero bets $10.26 and is all-in, CO calls $6.99 and is all-in

Turn shove for maximum value vs. pair+draws
I don`t think he has a set or 2pair. T9 with 1 :diamond: is not likely as I believe he wouldn`t limp/call preflop w/ offsuit connectors.
We`re only beat by Jx or a flush like K :diamond:9 :diamond:

Questionable cbet which could only fold out some overcards most of which we beat.
I guess a second barrel on the turn should be fine, probably a bit bigger.
On the river I don`t think he would raise me with a weaker ace.
