Well I ran good for 1-2 days and was up like 6BI...only to lose twice that amount on the following day. Think of such a horrible day that I got pocket kings 5 times, got it all-in pre-flop everytime and managed to get KK vs AA 3 times, KK vs set and KK vs flush...

So yeah I'm trying to rebuild my bankroll in NL5 and doing pretty bad even though I don't feel like i'm playing any worse, just getting unlucky everytime I get the money in (nut straight on the turn with the board pairing on the river being what's been occuring the most). I guess I just have to keep playing.

I'm actually having some terrible lag while trying to run my tracker (HM2) but I'm getting this fixed soon.

Updates on how I'm doing : I had to move down, still almost busted my account, switched to short-handed for the sake of it and actually did a LOT better there, and am now grinding NL10 SH with a very healthy bankroll ♦

I've been reading a lot of articles about SH and reading hand analysis, are there any general tips for transitioning from FR to SH ? I feel like the reason I'm doing so good is because I was too aggressive/bluffy for FR but my playstyle fits just fine for SH.

Great to hear that you are doing better.

Those hands you posted above are sure to tilt some players. My advice, try to keep positive and continue to work on your game. The biggest mistake is to give up on the learning part and replace it with mindless grinding in the hopes of turning variance around. Unfortunately we have no control over it so we, ideally, should just accept it.

Nice spoiler hand there :). See the variance already turned around for you, at least for one hand.

As far as tips go for switching from FR to SH:

1) Ranges are wider and thus hand value postflop is different than in FR (since in FR people are tighter they usually have stronger holdings).
2) Since you are already aggressive preflop/postflop the biggest thing to stay away from is to tighten up. So keep working on your aggression and hand reading and don't forget to post hands and attend the weekly coachings
