hi,

- i bet first oop (value+protection), because he bets generally for value.
- what does his minraise mean?

Hello,

Preflop calling is fine.

I don't mind donking here on the flop since we can get called by worse and also he doesn't seem to bluff at all.
Once he minraises I prefer calling. He could have worse hands (8x/99/FD) and also we don't really want to go broke here.

As played on the flop, why do we check/fold the turn? I do think that we can bet the turn for value against weaker hands and draws.

Best,
Plamen

sorry my late response,

Villain's 'value' cbet range postflop (including 76o, 76s):

MP2 38.67% 38.36% 0.30% 55+, ATs+, A8s, A5s, Q8s, 76s, KcQc, KcJc, QcJc, KcTc, QcTc, JcTc, Ac9c, Kc9c, Qc9c, Jc9c, Tc9c, Kc8c, Ac7c, Kc7c, Ac6c, Ac4c, ATo+, A8o, 76o
MP3 61.33% 61.03% 0.30% ThTs

Villain's bet/call range postflop:

MP2 47.60% 47.12% 0.48% 55+, A8s, A5s, Q8s, 76s, AcKc, AcQc, KcQc, AcJc, KcJc, QcJc, AcTc, KcTc, QcTc, JcTc, Ac9c, Kc9c, Qc9c, Jc9c, Tc9c, Kc8c, Ac7c, Kc7c, Ac6c, Ac4c, A8o, 76o
MP3 52.40% 51.92% 0.48% ThTs

what do you think ?

-------

I am confused :)
At turn: my problem was the expected river cbet after postflop action.
I would not bet the turn... I am thinking on c/c turn, c/f river. He could chbh with 99,JJ, and busted draws, maybe with KK and Aces.

would be better b/f on turn?

Other options?
if I play c/c, c/c, c/f?

or c/r turn? looks so strong, but isolatet against stronger hands OOP.

ty in advance

Hey,

First of all I don't think villain will have hands like K8s/K7s/Q8s/76o so maybe your range is a little bit wide here.

So if we go for a check/call on the flop here, my plan will be to check/call the turn (unless it's not a bad card such as an ace) and probably check/fold the river.

Best,
Plamen

sorry if wasting time....

?
as I played postflop, then c/c turn, c/f river.
He could chbh with 99,JJ, and busted draws, maybe with KK and Aces.

or
forget donk/raise postflop? just donk/call?

As I said in one of my previous posts, if we do 3bet here on the flop I'd go for a bet myself on the turn.
If we check then we must fold if he bets since I don't expect him to bet a worse hand here, and even if he does, we'll have to play the river and have a really hard time there.

If we only donk/called though, I'd plan to call the turn and check/fold the river.

sorry if wasting time....

I'm not glad to see this. If there's anything that makes you think that you are just wasting somebody's time here? At the end of the day, this is what we hand judges do, so even if i have to get back here 10 times, I'd do it just to make sure everything is clear.
