yeah i would not try doing it barefeet. To much stress on the joints from all the jumping.

Im doing the same, barefoot on carpet I dont own any suitable shoes for working out in really. I need to get some though as the sides of my feet start to hurt quite a bit and I struggle to do some exercises like the heisman during the warm up as it puts a lot of pressure on the outsides of the feet.

wow today i work out again after a break of at least 6 weeks i believe. Last week i spend most of my time in bed cause i had the flu so yeah great moment to go insane again

I just did the insanity fit test to see were i stand, i felt pretty bad about myself but like anything in life it is not were you stand now it is all about were you think you can get in the long run. So screw this fit test

Anyway cause i did the fittest and feel all beaten up now it made made think that i realy wanna do a 2nd round of 60 days of this insane madness called insanity. I just love the feeling of beating myself up till i can hardly walk to the shower so i might just switch plans and do a 2nd round of 60 days instead of the 30 day insanity assylum challenge.

Have you thought about maybe doing something like the 2nd half of insanity followed straight away by the asylum so you still get a 60 day workout? Or you want to go through the full insanity again?

Am going for the full 60 days again. I saw that a lot of people do a 2nd or even a 3rd round and i realy love it so why not? After 60 days i will see what i feel wanna do next. Might be p90x again or maybe the assylum, p90x 2. I feel i can get a lot better results out of insanity since am much fitter a the start.

I had a look at my fittest results, they are in bewteen my result from fit test nr 3 and nr 4 so i did had a little drop back but i know i can make this up by working hard. That is what i like so much about insanity it will make you push hard if you are a starter or you do it for the 2nd or 3rd time you can always push yourself to the max and you will feel the same after each workout (like you can't walk anymore ;))

bwah having to take a few days off because my leg hurts like a motherfuc**r. It's the same leg as my bad knee, but this time it's just above my ankle to the inside of the leg. I'm definitely putting more pressure on my ankle trying to protect that knee, but it sucks that I need to take a few days off.

Anyway, I'm done with the first 4 weeks, it's the "recovery" week now, and then it gets serious I'm really nervous about the last 4 weeks, but I'm smiling cause I love it :f_biggrin: :f_love: :f_love:

i finished week 1 again for my 2nd round of 60 days, it is all the same like the first first week of insanity. I already feel much fitter and better then when i did not work out at all.

If i can make the same progress as in the first 60 days i think i will be pretty damm fit.

bjela sad to hear you have to take a break but pls take rest as long as you need. Look for long run results, if you skip more then a week you can also go back one week in the schedule to get back in the zone.

yeah shaun T is the man, you should check how he looks in the assylum video

found this picture he is a bit older but still looks amazing

i think he lost even more body fat now he is a bit older. Yeah when i work out i also think why am i doing this but when it is over am smiling cause am loving it

just weighted myself and am on a very happy 89 kilo. Not bad that i just gained 1kg after 6 weeks of doing nothing and eating pretty junky around christmas/holiday times. I will loose this 1 kilo for sure, i do not wanna get below 85kg so it is good to know were i am at the moment.

Main focus will be to loose body fat and get more fit overall.

I have to work out now (my day off) since yesterday we had a realy realy busy day with family etc.

Hey,

Also started with Insanity. Finished day 5 and the pain is getting less :f_biggrin:

It will be impossible for me to exercise everyday because of my busy scedule and other sports. Still I don't think I will need much more time to complete all the workouts. May be 1 week or so.

I think the workouts are very cool and will surely help me to get fit.

Have fun :f_thumbsup:

T.

Coming to the end of my first month now and im starting to look good and feel amazing. When i started i could do 1-2 push ups at a time now i can do almost 20 gogogo guys keep it up

Wow preytty amazing sir keep it up!!!! The great feeling you have right now is the best motivation.

Working out nearly every day can be hard to manage time wise but you just have to get used to it and make it part of your daily routine.

If you can make it up to 60 days you will feel so damm proud on to yourself, i know more people who quited then who finished it

So i need some opinion...

I was doing Insanity and finished first 3 weeks, just before new year. Took a 3 weeks break, because of holidays, and I have chronic inflammation of the ankle joint (had to use google translate for this ), so it was a good rest for me...

I was thinking on starting over from the beginning, , but I did the fit test yesterday, and managed to achieve same results as on the 2nd fit test from day15 (though I was struggling for breath after the test for about 10 minutes), so the question is:

Should I start it all over, or should I continue from Day16, day after Fit Test 2???

Yeah, I'd just start from day 16. No need to do the first two weeks again if you didn't get too out of shape...

I would start at week 3 since your fit test was still pretty descend. But it no problem to do everything back again from day 1. As long as you keep on pushing yourself to do the max you can. I finish my first 60 days and did the the first 30 days straight after it. Main thing i guess would be you should be ready for week 6 when you start doing your max trainings.

I did pure cardio today for the 2nd time now and i realy feel it is the most hard workout of the first 30 days. But i realy love doing it, when you finished it you feel great about yourself.

Hey you guys.
Dont you think hes injured and still freshly recovered ankle will experiance some harsh suffering if he starts with intensity workout as day 16th.
I dont doubt that your fitness state could stand that, but I am concerned that your ankle needs some steady adjustments after 3 weeks of rest.

Like they tell you at the start of every workout, stop if you feel any pain. So if you do not have pain you could give it a try. But yeah am no doctor, so be carefull.

I also have a knee history and for instance i can't do any running outside for long periods but i have no problems with the insanity workouts. The workouts are hard but relatively short so i guess this is the key for me.

Yeah, I have problems with knees, ankles, thighs, almost every muscle and joint on my legs, but that is due to 23 years of dancing and pushing myself far above my limits while i was young, now I know when to stop and when my muscles/joint/ankles are critical so don't worry about that, i was just asking whether to start all over, or to continue from day16, as my fit test results clearly say I can do that, and as for injuries, lets just hope (nothing else I can do, been to all sorts of doctors, they all repeat the same, rest and be careful) I can continue like this, cause this is the only real cardio exercise that can keep me in shape for dancing @ this age...

Thanc for the concern guys anyway
