I have been doing insanity for 100 days now. Did 90 days, then p90x then a break and then a started again on insanity.

Did the fittest this morning and i feel pretty proud, if you know how i felt and looked 8 months ago you would understand it even better.

first nr is first insanity fittest i ever did, second nr is fittest from two weeks ago, third nr is fittest i did this morning.

excercise 1 50/104/112
excercise 2 33/41/45
excercise 3 55/77/83
excercise 4 19/26/34
excercise 5 5/7/9
excercise 6 11/15/18
excercise 7 13/19/25
excercise 8 16/46/50

I feel i can still improve in mostly 2nd half of the fittest since am more exhausted by the time we enter the 2nd half.

For those of you who want to see what it is all about i found this video of the fittest

Sick results man, congratulations :)

I have my 3rd fit test tomorrow, after the recovery week. I'm really nervous about the second month, although excited at the same time. I peeked at the workouts and they seem truly insane :)

yeah you feel you can deal the workouts now but then you push yourself even further then you thought was possible with the max training wich is even more insane, longer, heavier and less rest in betweeen. Just keep on pushing and do whatever you can do, do not try to look at the results shaun t and his crew make. Most of all keep us postex with what you experience and how much you hate it:-O

A lot of my friends have them before or after gym and have been doing it for a year or so. Not veing big headed but I look better than them all after 4 weeks of insanity and no shakes. I guess they will only help your workout but for me its as they say if it ain't broke don't fix it. Plus I heard the flavours is a bit disgusting too will maybe try them in future but for now im doing fine

So I did the test + max interval circuit yesterday, and now my whole body hurts :f_love: During the circuit training, I wanted to quit during the warm up, and just do it today, but I've stuck with it, and when the real workout was starting, I got the second wind and actually did a pretty OK workout, considering how tired I was after the test...

As for the numbers, I'm pretty sure I fucked up counting, probably on the second test. I seem to have counted 10 more of power jumps and low plank oblique. It's not possible that I've done 8 more of each on the second test than on the third.

So, revised numbers for the second test + results of the third test:

1 switch kicks 75 - 93 - 100
2 power jacks 36 - 55 - 59
3 power knees 55 - 90 - 109
4 power jumps 21 - 27 - 33
5 globe jumps 6 - 8 - 9
6 suicide jumps 11 - 15 - 11
7 push-up jacks 22 - 29 - 28
8 low plank oblique 28 - 32 - 36

Got pretty damn tired towards the end, that's why suicides and push up jacks suck, but I don't care. I'm doing every exercise with much better form, I'm feeling stronger/better and I'm super-happy I've managed to do 100 switch kicks :f_biggrin:

Where did everyone go, don't tell me you guys quit?

Managed to survive the first week of the second month, but barely. I was never this tired and had so many muscles that hurt. Reminded me of this epic guy:

bjela you sound like you got infected with the insanity virus

that is just the way to think, just like in poker getting better is all that matters.

I had a little accident in the house so my feet was hurt, i could not put on my shoes for a day and after that day it hurt even walking around. Anyway i had to take a week of wich i hate since am kinda autistic :f_biggrin:.

I will start again tomorow, since i missed a week i will start were i left the schedule.

I also got some protein shakes (80 in total so should be enought to finish insanity). Also i got some multivitamins wich are designed for taken it when you work out hard.

Realy looking fwd to work out again i missed it.

I know what you mean, i used to work out in the gym many years ago but i was never so tired then after a insanity workout. I think that if you want qucik results insanity like programs are the way to go.

I got some shakes and i heard on several forums that this is the best flavour around. We will see if it work outs for me, i do not eat a lot so i think i can have it kcall wise.

I didn't know insanity/P90x but because of this thread, i got the virus

So, i finished my firsts 2 weeks. Here's my results (i started at 83 kg for 1.80m):

1 switch kicks 87 - 117
2 power jacks 39 - 47
3 power knees 63 - 93
4 power jumps 16 - 22
5 globe jumps 6 - 8
6 suicide jumps 8 - 16
7 push-up jacks 13 - 23
8 low plank oblique 31 - 50

After years doing nothing, i was looking for some action... i found it

I reckon i will post every 2 weeks until it's done.

Still alive here :f_biggrin:
Tonight will be the last day of week 2. I've had some delay last week because of crazy working hours and noisy hotel room floors :( (days of 17+ hours...)

But still going strong and I've made a great progression already. I still cant keep up with those video guys ofcourse but I can do a lot more and faster reps compared to the start.

There is no pain anymore during and after the trainings and I recover a loooot faster.

Didn't loose any weight but that wasn't my goal.
My current weight is 82 KG and I'm 1,84 tall.

Keep it up guys!

T.

I have been training basketball for 8 years and I also play a lot of other sports, volleyball, tennis for now. I still haven't decided if I'm going to do this fitness challenge, coz it's really takes all my energy and I wouldn't be able to play other sports with 100% dedication, because when I'm doing something I have to do it the best I can.

The reason why I would do this, only because of gaining weight. Coz I'm 19 years old, 181cm height and only 65kg. But that nutrition plan is so time consuming or it just looks like. But for student, who has a lot of stuff to do, eat 5 times a day is pretty hard challenge :(

the great thing about insanity is that it will cost you around 45 minutes for first 5 weeks and around 60 minutes the last 4 weeks. I time is an issue i think insanity is great.

Am not sure insanity is the best program to gain weight. You feel hungry so maybe you can eat more if gaining weight is your main goal.

Just give it a try you can always quit when you do not like it after a week or so.

Your 19 just wait you will gain weight as you get older. Am nearly 2 meter and i was like you pretty skinny, could eat a ton of stuf without gaining any weight.

I mean life wasn't being very cooperative with P90x the first time! Too much chaos to really do it. Seems to be the right time to start again now. First 3 days done
