According to the chart I should be limping the hand in MP3. What's the reason behind it? If I get called it is usually a better hand?

I am thinking if I limped I would have had 2-3 more players in the pot then it gets tricky. Have a feeling that raising is more profitable in a long run.

I am probably saying it because my postflop is weak.

Can you comment from your experience?

Hi mtxfat,

Preflop: I strongly believe that you should open this hand with a raise considering that you have mostly weak opponents behind us that can call wider (based on their stack sizes). We can also raise to isolate UTG and try to play heads up with initiative versus him.

This is a great example where you can deviate from the chart based on solid reasons (as mentioned above). Remember that the chart is a suggestion and shouldn't be the rule, especially when you have info on your opponents.

As played your cbet is perfectly fine.
