If these repping threads are annoying, blame Pleno, he started posting such hands around the forum.

Villain is a sort of standard 22/19 player preflop. 3bet vs CO = 10%, 3bet overall from SB 14% so calling here to me looks like PP usually. He folds 47% to cbets and never raised in 10 opportunities.

His showdown stats are more interesting: 18% WTSD and 25% W$SD! This is over 700 hands.

What do you expect villain's calling range to be here? 44? 7x? Can't see any Kx in his range once Ks comes on the river. What about if river is 2d?

Yo

I think it's fine, I expect him to call most flushes though, 44 (even though it's counterfeited) and 7x+. He mostly has PPs thought that I do think will fold.

Hi!

So with this line we expect him to fold pp mainly. Why do we overbet river than? Are we getting more fold EQ this way? PSB achieves the same?

Overall when board duble pairs, can we expect from villain to get more heroish?

Hi Gregor86,

I feel like people are a lot more likely to hero call sizings up to pot, and fold a lot to sizings above that. So yea, the reasoning is that I expect more fold equity.

And it's true that people seem to be a bit more sticky, especially when the river pairs, so I do think it's a find spot to overbet.

Would anyone ever overbet a full house there though?

I'd overbet 7x or better but vs a more call happy player expecting to get looked up quite often.
