kokos redline
nice job sir! ♠_cool:
As promised, at the end of May (and it's pretty much ended - one hour till summer, here ♦) I present you my report.
May was very good month for me. It was actually the best month I've ever had, bagging me more than 22BI - 111.11$
That's a result of two things, I think. First is more aggressive stealing. There are a lot of nits on the micros, and then even if player isn't nit, they still often fold to a steal more than 80% of the time (actually, I'm one of them). The thing I didn't know before, is if both players are folding to steals 80% of the time, then it's profitable to steal with any two. And then comes fold to cbet, and other things that helps to determine if it's profitable to steal. I learned all that from awesome book "Small stakes No-Limit holdem". I've red this book one time already and started to note all good things when I was in Slovenia, but didn't touched it after I returned back home. It will be one of my most important goals to start reading and noting it again in June.
Second thing, that I started to use is frequent, but small cbets against fishes. All the fishes plays their own cards only, and if they don't hit, they will fold to no matter what sized cbet.
Time for graphs:
4th week (22-31 actually)

Whole May

2nd quarter of the year

2012

GOALS FOR JUNE:
:club:Start reading and taking notes of "Small stakes No-Limit Holdem"
:club:Improve my blind defense
:club:Take shots at NL10
:club:20k hands
Improving my blind defense will be very important goal for me. That's because, what I found when I was playing with various functions of PT4. I found out that over all 86k of hands 2.5k of them was folded to me, and I won the blinds. And that's almost 10BI. Now my FTS is something about 85. So it's profitable to steal any two against me. Less FTS - more $$. Of course, no need to overdo it.
I will probably start taking shots at NL10 tomorrow. That depends on the mood, because I have Lithuanian' Exam tomorrow, so if I will be tired I won't.
Exams Exams Exams
One tommorow, and Math on June 6th. And I'll start studying poker then

I'm crushing NL10 so easily ♠_cool: ♠_cool: ♠_cool: ♠_cool: It looks same as NL5 so far. Of course small sample, I'm running good, etc. But the best thing is my red line. It was my biggest problem since I don't know, and now it looks so wonderful, it even makes me cry
i wonder what's the deal but i'm also running better at NL10 (zoom) than i was at NL5
probably sample
Everything's going nice. I will post first weekly review on Sunday, 10th June. That's to divide month in 4 parts - 4 rewievs: 10th, 17th, 24th and 30th.
Just got back home.. Apparently, my lil brother, which I've been teaching to play poker, and let him to play NL2 on my account, decided that's it's totally normal to lose 25 BI in two sessions, and that's just variance
Well, I'm glad that was only NL2. At least we know now, that he has huge tilting issue. Stop-loss from now on!

.... Sorry for not updating, but I wasn't playing much, and even what I did, didn't go so well.
So nice to read my blog, I feel so sorry that I've abandoned it :/
Was sick of poker though :/ Tried to make transition to sng's - couldn't make it. Now trying shots at NL5 zoom. Crushing NL2, but can't do anything at NL5. Running like shit, and also it's much much tougher than NL2.
Might start blogging again. So nice to see those weekly and monthly reports and see how I was progressing.
