Today was losing as well, but I think I played better than my average. All my draws missed while all my opponents draws hit for the most part and I ran into better hands when I had top pair, it really seemed unbelievable.

Here are some hands from today:

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.25/$0.5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q:d, A:d.
Hero raises, MP3 calls, CO calls, BU folds, SB calls, BB 3-Bets, Hero caps, MP3 calls, CO calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (20 SB) K:c, 8:h, T:c (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets, CO calls, SB calls, BB raises, Hero calls, MP3 calls, CO calls, SB calls.

Turn: (15 BB) A:c (5 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, MP3 folds, CO 3-Bets, SB folds, BB caps, Hero calls, CO calls.

River: (27 BB) J:s (3 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, CO calls, BB 3-Bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 33.3 BB.

Results follow:

Hero shows a straight, ace high(Qd Ad).
CO shows a flush, ace high(6c 5c).
BB shows a straight, ace high(Qc Qs).

CO wins with a flush, ace high(6c 5c).

I think I put too much action in, preflop my cap multiway might be fine, but after with so many in the hand, top pair becomes more weak and I seemed to forget this.

$0.25/$0.5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K:d, 6:c.
MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO folds, BU calls, SB folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (4.4 SB) 8:s, 2:s, 6:s (4 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks, BU checks.

Turn: (2.2 BB) K:s (4 players)
Hero bets, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, BU folds.

River: (4.2 BB) 8:h (2 players)
Hero bets, MP3 calls.

Final Pot: 6.2 BB.

Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, kings and eights(Kd 6c).
MP3 shows a flush, king high(9s Kh).

MP3 wins with a flush, king high(9s Kh).

I think I should check call as a very weak bluff catcher on the river instead, I don't see value in my bet.

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K:c, Q:c.

BB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets, BB raises, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

Results follow:

BB shows two pairs, sevens and fives(7d 5d).
Hero shows a pair of kings(Kc Qc).

BB wins with two pairs, sevens and fives(7d 5d).

I think folding would be better on turn based on usual ranges.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8:s, 6:d.
2 folds, BU raises, SB folds, Hero calls.

River: (8.2 BB) T:s (2 players)

Final Pot: 8.2 BB.

This villian is a LAG and I should have called down and let him bluff.

Preflop: Hero is BB with J:h, 9:s.
MP3 raises, 2 folds, SB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (6 BB) Q:d (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

River: (9 BB) Q:c (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP3 checks.

Final Pot: 9 BB.

Results follow:

MP3 shows a pair of queens(Jc As).
Hero shows a pair of queens(Jh 9s).
SB shows a pair of queens(8c 7s).

MP3 wins with a pair of queens(Jc As).

I think raising the turn or betting the river could be +ev, not sure though.

I ran good finally, 25bb/100 today, even though many times when i had trips or 2 pair I lost to a straight.

Here's some interesting or funny hands I played from my 3 sessions.

$0.25/$0.5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (3 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BU with T:h, 9:d.

BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.2 BB) Q:c (2 players)

River: (5.2 BB) K:s (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 5.2 BB.

Results follow:

Hero shows high card ace(Th 9d).
BB shows high card ace(Tc 3c).

Hero wins with high card ace(Th 9d).

Winning hands like this is always funny to me.

Final Pot: 6.2 BB.

Results follow:

BB shows three of a kind, tens(Tc Ts).
Hero shows a flush, ace high(Ac 6h).

Hero wins with a flush, ace high(Ac 6h).

I was thinking before and after that I should have bet, but I had a nonsensical read that he had a better flush.

Results follow:

BB shows a pair of fours(4s 4h).

Hero wins with a pair of eights(3h 8h).

I think this was actually a bad spot to bluff, but the outcome is surprising.

So yesterday I ran good again at 25bb/100 and today I hit my bankroll to move up. It is 250, so very aggressive, but I easily move up or down whenever I need to.

Today I moved up and ran good again about 25bb/100. I don't feel like posting hands now, but I'll post some another day.

So I moved back up and haven't needed to move down again. I'm back to where I was before the crash. I noticed I was going for check raises with essentially the nuts on the river when it was a scary river without noticing. So I have now tried to fix it.

Here's some hands from today(I ran at 61bb/100 my best yet):

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.5/$1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K:c, Q:h.
MP2 raises, 2 folds, BU calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.5 SB) K:s, 6:d, J:c (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, BU calls, Hero raises, MP2 calls, BU calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 8:h (3 players)
Hero bets, MP2 raises, BU calls, Hero calls.

River: (12.25 BB) 9:s (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, BU checks.

Final Pot: 12.25 BB.

Results follow:

MP2 shows a pair of jacks(Js Ts).
Hero shows a pair of kings(Kc Qh).
BU shows high card ace(Qs Ac).

Hero wins with a pair of kings(Kc Qh).

I think I played this good but wish there was a way to not check through the river, even though I got that value on the turn.

Play hand

$0.5/$1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q:d, J:c.
Hero raises, MP3 folds, CO 3-Bets, 2 folds, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (9.5 SB) 2:d, T:c, 4:h (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO bets, BB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.75 BB) Q:h (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO calls.

River: (9.75 BB) Q:c (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 13.75 BB.

Results follow:

CO shows a pair of queens(Jd Kh).
Hero shows three of a kind, queens(Qd Jc).

Hero wins with three of a kind, queens(Qd Jc).

I didnt expect this river raise. It seems like it could be a better Q or air and air probably won't cap, but a Q or better will, so I think calling is best.

Preflop: Hero is BB with A:c, 6:c.
MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO raises, BU calls, SB folds, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (8.5 SB) 7:c, 5:s, 2:s (4 players)
Hero bets, MP3 folds, CO calls, BU raises, Hero calls, CO calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) 7:d (3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, BU bets, Hero calls, CO folds.

River: (9.25 BB) T:c (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets, Hero folds, BU gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: 9.25 BB.

This hand I really don't know what I was thinking calling the turn, even the flop is close.

My HEM2 is lagging so bad that I can't even review my hands, so I can't post any today.

I notice I'm acting too fast occasionally meaning I make huge 1BB mistakes when I overlook something.

One hand was when I improved to a straight, I checked back in a 3way pot.
Another hand, I bet called instead of bet-3bet the nuts on the river.

These mistakes are just as bad as losing too much on hands, so I should slow down in spots where I'm drawing or have the possibility of nuts.

On a good note, I'm getting better reads on players, and made a new category of player, the lagtag with too much extreme aggression. Against these players I was making big mistakes, but now I can calldown more and play more +EV against them.

I played just a few hands over xmas and went up 70BB just 2 tabling without stats on my other computer.

I remember one recent hand where I had AK 3 ways on JT3 and it went bet raise, so I folded to get out of the way but then realized after that my draw is good to the gutshot and probably one pair, so I should never fold that situation.
