is this usually the best way? how many of you guys play part time or full time?

Hi, maythany,
I think poker makes a great hobby, but it would be a very, very dreary full-time job. Even the term "grinder" makes me shudder.
I play 1 to 2 hours a day, and study about 1/2 to 1 hr per day -- There isn't much time for more.
Mind you, there are a LOT of people who think the opposite, and enjoy playing 6-8 hrs a day and more -- and earn a decent living at it.
So much depends on the person...
