Hey,

Up until river i think you played it well.

After he checks the turn, what do you think is his range? How much air and how many bluffcatchers do you think he has?

I don't know, that's why im posting the hand :( I bet the river because I never expected him to raise me there, It just doesnt make any sense to me when he checks the turn with so many draws on the board. X(

Just some random comments...

The question is is he the type of player to check the QJ straight on to turn for deception, to get river value? Seems like a -ev play but hmm...

Also I'm not sure why you bet the river? Are you targeting exactly AJ? Or do you think you get a calls from Kx?

When you bet, I don't think you should be worried of getting raised that often really but is it best to bet? If you bet you have to assume your opponent cbets a depolarised range and will have a lot of showdown value hands.

If he is polarised when cbetting, he will usually not have enough hands to call you when you bet but will have a lot of air that can bluff.

I think bet/folding will be +EV and so will check/calling, your hand is just too good for it to not be. That said, one of those is still higher EV...
