March has been the best month for me so far. With rakeback a bit over 25$/h in 100 hours

To sum it up shortly - was running ridiculously good, moved back to 6 tabling & constantly improving, avoided playing unmotivated/tired, tableselecting hard. The last few things I think helped tremendously reduce the constant downswings that I used to have.

I also tried some $15s which greeted me well. The games are tougher than I thought but I will tableselect the best out of them and there's no doubt I can beat them. Having ended my staking I'm looking to getting one for $15s now.

Oh and since HEM1 is getting old I tried HEM2 and PT4 and decided to buy PT4. Something I would have never thought of doing for sngs, and even though it is still buggy, I liked it more.

Let's hope April will be half as good :)

Nice trend! Is that from PT4 ? and if so - does that look much different in HEM?

Reading your blog and seeing how you deal with those swings makes me consider playing hypers again. When I moved from 3s to 7s in BI I had a 100BI upward trend over just 600 games, but then everything stalled with minus 20BI over the next 600 games which made me loose trust (and more) in my game as I just dont cope with variance very well X( X( X(

AND I even had played some 15s with positive red line...

@jimira Yep that's from PT4 and it looks almost the same in HEM2 while HEM1 shows a bit of nonsense.

Swings are crazy but you get used to them. That even helps to reduce the swings itself. I believe poker is halkf-and-half psychological and math game. And maintaining yourself under heavy swings is a good part of it :)

@vuciitis Thanks man. Wish the same next month. Unless we meet at $7s :P

BTW I played with you at some 7s last year and noted that you pushed 22 from SB first hand, first level.
Do you only play push/fold or do you have some raise/fold and R/C ranges ? (I wonder if you could be that winning with only push/fold)

@jimira I mix that a lot vs different players. If that was first hand then that must have been one of a kind move. I very rarely push over 12 true bb

EDIT: Oh I missed that you said it was last year. Yeah that may had happened. I saw a video somewhere where the coach said pushing small pockets is profitable at almost any effective stacks. I guess I didn't want to get postflop then and I decided to just push. That was a long time ago though... :)

@belthazorrrr Thanks. Same goes to you. Saw your graph at March graphs thread :)

And that is a very nice graph indeed! Keep it up!

@belthazorrrr Nice. I like such songs when drunk

On the other note I started my $15s deal today and gonna be playing solely them from now on. Never played them alone, today was the first sessionm went great, except one thing. Due to my strict table selecting I wasn't able to get even 6 tables sometimes. ?( I guess the good weather will really hurt traffic...

Or I'll need to move my grinding time to evenings, which I hate cause I'm sleepy in evenings.

Anyway there are still guys like this left

PokerStars - $14.41+$0.59|60/120 Ante 12 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 143
BB: 1,232 (VPIP: 31.25, PFR: 17.24, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 34)
BTN: 1,625 (VPIP: 29.27, PFR: 30.00, 3Bet Preflop: 10.00, Hands: 91)

3 players post ante of 12, Hero posts SB 60, BB posts BB 120

Pre Flop: (pot: 216) Hero has 3♠ 4♥

fold, Hero raises to 131 and is all-in, fold
