I definitely feel you need to make a decision on the turn. His bet sizing is strange in that he didn't pot raise the flop or the turn, so if he does have 79 here it has to be with a flush draw as well.

That said his flop raise doesn't just have to be a straight here, he could have a nut flush draw as well (I don't think there are that many sets who raise, though a set with flush draw will).

You're hoping for a blank turn card pretty much. If a club hit I think I would check/fold the turn and then I would see what villain does on the turn. If he pots the turn I think I fold as I would expect 79 to play that way on a wet board. I might also fold the turn if an ace hits since nut flush draws now might have improved to a better 2 pair.

But if you do call the turn bet you absolutely have to call the river as well, though personally if I commit to the turn I am going to checkraise all in here in case villain is overplaying an overpair with flush draw.

I would likely c/rai turn.
If river is blank or even for example A I´m not sure you´re going to c/c with your two pair, so imo it is better to get all-in on the turn.
Sets would usually not raise that board, so it is either A high flushdraw (likely with AA), sometimes blockers or 97

No. Villain isn't deep enough because he has to barrel all 3 streets and the board is wet, so you have lots of reasons to call. If the board was rainbow I would like villain's play a lot more.

That's why he bet so small on the turn, to save ammo for river. He should have realized that he doesn't have the stack to fire believable bets for 3 streets.
