NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer

BB ($25)

BTN ($27.93)

Dealt to Hero A♦ Q♥

fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1, fold, SB raises to $3, fold, UTG+1 calls $2.75, Hero calls $2

FLOP ($9.25) 8♠ Q♦ 7♦

SB bets $6, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls $6

TURN ($21.25) 8♠ Q♦ 7♦ 9♦

SB checks, Hero bets $16.88 (AI), SB folds

Hero shows A♦ Q♥

Hero wins $20.29

Pre: My range is so wide when isoing a limper in this position. Would expect even a relatively tight reg to bluff raise here from time to time. I prefer calling to reraising as I'm well ahead of both ranges.

Flop: Nothing to say.

Turn: Wasn't sure whether shoving or checking is preferable here? Just thought that I'd be shoving here with my air and calling flop > checking turn makes my hand look like I have something I want to take to showdown. Regs at this limit love checking their AA/KK here but even then I have equity.

Cheers

Hey M,

If they check AA and KK you still call river and lose imo. This lets you get it in vs a hand like TT, KQ, QJ, T9, etc that have equity and feel the need to call with the odds they get.

Pre and flop are fine, I agree with your play.
