It is Zoom on Stars, so its definately gonna be strong hand. Preflop fight can say something about quite strong pairs, or maybe AKs.
After the flop with couple of draws, AdKd or QQ+ are still possible. But in my opinion, in this spot, Villain can build pot with something like 55, 77, or maybe 44. Thats the reason why he takes control and bet sizing is not that big, that Hero will fold with strong, but not the best hand.
6 on the turn is good for 77, even better for 55, but Villain is still controling pot.
River is great card for him and all in in this spot is really call-able with good card like A-A for our Hero.
I go for 77 and I think that aces got busted.
I think it could be a pair of Jacks the hidden hand. The fact that the Hero didn't 5-bet might be a trigger for the UTG player to think the Hero does not have a big pair in his hand (KK or AA). I think the villain could have thought that he could even make a pair like QQ to fold with such an aggressive play.
I believe he never thought the Hero could have a pair bigger than QQ or even he could have thought of something like AK of diamonds.
I will go for 77.
at this level against a reg i will assume that some good regs will 4 bet light so deep, and 77 would be a great hand for that.
He bets his sets all the way and probably puts us on QQ+ so doesn't want to make us fold.
(Other option is 5 :diamond:6
but that's just for my fun and not my actually entry)
I would say A6. After flop there is possibility (16%) for straight (if 5 comes out).
He makes $72.50 bet (14 big blind) with best possible high card and straight possibility. After HERO calls this pretty radical bet he(villain) is afraid that HERO could have pair of sevens. On the turn comes 6 and villain makes even more radical raise ($105-21bb) with hope to make possible-7s-having HERO to fold. On the river comes 4 giving villain another bluff opportunity(he can have both straight and three of a kind). He makes $254.70 bet (almost 51bb) making this situation very hard for HERO. I don't know would I call if I was HERO. HERO did and by my theory that was good choice. I hope I'm right.
P.S. What is Tell-a-Friend account?
Thanks
I think AdKd is an standard open raise from UTG, and would bet for value against most of the range from button positional raise (middle and low pairs, KQs+, lower SC), and would bet 3 streets, considering also a backdoor str8. What causes me surprise is hero not shoving for maore value (or reraise more until go allin) preflop. His deceptive line could be disastrous depending on the board, dont?
I guess villain is holding 77, it is a standard open from UTG, vs. a loose player on the BTN you can also argue for it to be a 4b. Villains betsizing overall looks really strong, he is clearly going for 3 streets of value, if he had AKdd it would make more sense imo. if he bet bigger and tried to get it in on the flop vs. 77+.
i will go with JJ because at first i thought jj++ bet bet bet for value but then pleno said is not always qq++ so jj
KK
He keeps betting, to protect against FD. And since the hero didn't 5bet pre, the villain believes he's ahead, thinking hero has A
K
or QQ. On the river, the villain shoves allin, to extract value in case he's against QQ.

Hero has the Ace of diamonds! ♦
KK, I guess JJ+ AK is value 4bet range utg vs BU 3B 100bb deep at 500 zoom, dunno what his bluff 4bet range is maybe KQo plus a couple of other broadways maybe some AXs. But anyway KK going for value!
Donut10
Villian raises then 4bet. He shows great strength on all streets which would represent a pocket pair. I doubt villian will 4bet a low/mid pocket pair so I would stick to QQ+.
My answer is QQ.
Preflop: Hero is BTN with AClub ADiamond
UTG raises to $15, 2 folds, Hero raises to $40, 2 folds, UTG raises to $90, Hero calls $50
UTG has pocket fives.
UTG is likely to open quite loose from his position, 55 would be a good hand here.
When played back at UTG may think hero is just restealing with Ax or something. UTG makes a boldish move to win the pot right here by betting again. Here calls.
Flop: ($187.50) 7Diamond 3Diamond 4Heart (2 players)
UTG bets $72.50, Hero calls $72.50
Here UTG will bet again to make hero fold any Ax hand. Gut shot straight draw certainly helps UTG's aggression here. UTG likely has a plan to fold to reraise but hero calls instead.
Turn: ($322.50) 6Club (2 players)
UTG bets $105, Hero calls $105
UTG gets his gutshot straight, stacks are now destined to go in the middle.
River: ($542.50) 4Spade (2 players)
UTG goes all-in $254.70, Hero calls $254.70
I think, that he might hold KK. On every street villain maybe thought that he pulls value, but value is pulling from him
I'll villain 8
9 ![]()
Preflop 8s9s is part of opening range. Pleno has probably 3bet the last 5 hands so 89s seems like a good had to 5bet bluff.
Flopping flush draw villain decides to barrel, and picking up an OESD I decided to barrel again OTR, disregarding any range that hero can have, villain just shove not repping really anything as they bricked the river and can't win by checking , init.
Thanks for picking me last time!!! ♦ I'm SUUUPER Happy! <3
Now to the hand (again! XD)
Tough one without knowing UTG.
I'll go for the most probable things in every assumption, it pays off in the long term! haha
Let's see, for UTG I'd put in the 4-bet bluffs AQo, KQo, AJs or really similar things.
Given BU (go pleno1! you rock!) flatted the 4-bet, so probably with a pretty polarized range of either overpairs that won't fold on this board or speculative hands that hit the board in some way in any case (or at least in UTG's head), I don't think UTG (especially after 2 barrels) can really think of having Fold Equity.
So I think it is a value range, and if it's a value range, it's a range that would go broke preflop, and from UTG, that is really restricted.
Possibly half combos of AK (or maybe all of them vs that tilt maker by the name of pleno1) and KK+, maybe QQ+ (don't know the dynamics in these crazy limits).
Seeing again how BU just passively called 2 streets, UTG can't think at this point on the river to have any Fold Equity, and he got to have something that will get payed.
I'll go for the dream hand KK vs AA.
So in my honest opinion UTG has:
K♥K♠
[but suits don't really matter]
P.S. That 1/3 size on turn into 1/2 on river stinks, but I can't conclude anything out of it, I don't have enough knowledge I guess. Also pleno1 saying he makes people tilt, tilts me into going with a random bluff hand or stuff but whatever at that point it would just become guessing
I'd rather think :3
he may had pocket sevens. he called 3-bet 40usd, because of set value. And of course it was drawy board, so he made big value and protection bets on later streets
Pre flop : he makes a 4 bet with a small pair
Flop : with this kind of flop he makes a small bet ( he is waiting for a re-raise in order to fold )
Turn : he goes with the hand trying to represent now a straight , even a set
River : he is committed and he goes all-in thinking that he's small pair is good . In the same time he is trying to make you fold 10-10 , JJ , QQ or hoping for a hero call from AK , AQ
His hand : 22
