Wow been a while since I've seen this blog updated

Could you talk more about your trip to aus? Did you go to the gold coast at all?

I live about 2 hours north of Syd, stayed there & melbourne a few times & really enjoyed it. Never been to europe though so these cities are still nice for me

Did you go to the casinos?

@danny Its been quite long since I last grinded! Hahaha..

Nope. Decided not to go gold coast as my trip was 21 days long.

Outback - 8 days. Drove from Darwin-Kakadu-Alice Springs-Ayer's Rock.

Sydney- 3 days for the random sights

Melbourne- 1 day stopover

Hobart - 3days to see Koalas wombats and such (best part of the trip IMO)

Flew back to Melbourne for 1 night then drove to Phillip Island for penguin march and Great Ocean Road for 12 Apostles(also known as the Sow and her piglets. LOL) taking about 4 days.

After which I flew back to Sydney for my connecting flight back to Singapore.

Sadly I only went around the Crown Casino but did not play. Was in a group of 7 and they wun really adventurous. So we(I) did not play.

You should go Europe! A lot more history and things to see and do.
Haha.. I will defo go back again. Maybe when I am crushing nl100 and can go for diamond parties. Hahaha..

Sounds like an interesting trip :)

You've probably seen more of Australia than most Australians

@manu He just wants to go Thailand. But if you can promise a girl..... Things might change..

@Danny Yeah! A couple of Aussies told me that exact same thing in the hostels. Don't think I will be heading back to Australia anytime soon. If I do, it would be for Gold Coast and I guess that's it? Haha..

@manu - europe? ill be broke before i land. but if i am at nl500.... yea different story. i dont really love the scenery as much as jeremy and you do. and its so hot anyway not like its my favorite air conditioning temperate... but maybe.... just maybe... you know...

just wanted to laugh at summer monkey :f_p: :f_p: :f_p: this was supposed to be MY NICKNAME, it was MY NICKNAME, but someone joked at it and said it was super lame and said why not name it pussy monkey or something. and now your punishment is to look at it everyday ok.

You have at least mentioned the story of my nick being yours 3 times in my blogs. Let it go bro. Its not that bad a nick seeing twicet does things monkey style as well!

Its been quite a rough week at the tabs for me. Seeing a lot of leaks that needs to be plugged. Really glad to have friends to help me along this journey. Still trying to hit 5-6 hours a day to make poker work for me so that I can tell my relatives to ease off me on the pressure of finding a job. So do not want that as a plan atm.

Had to play blind for the past 3 days as HEM decided to screw up on me. Sent in tickets to get it fixed and now, its back up! Have been watching mbml's constructing ranges videos as I always thought my main leaks were post flop. But I know see how much those problems are only so big because of my preflop leaks(which I thought at first was not that big a problem).

So the plan is to continue grinding at nl10, putting to use the lessons on constructing ranges and not monket 3betting every single thing I have that is playable.

As what cgf has imparted to me before he left for thailand (again), the best advice Rio has given him that he thought was so dumb but now sees its importance:

Think more about the game.

Somehow someone is always there catching my mistake. Even if it's like a random comment to a friend which he posted in a corner of the blog.

Sitting in a corner in Pratunam now. Line ninja does not work Rio, please fix it.

Just to repeat it here again, Pre flop leaks are the easiest to fix and happens very often and are usually the ones that would improve your win rate the most when fixed.

You have the videos in your email. And remember to watch mbml videos too!

Maybe you can meet up Trevor and grind. He appears to be pretty into it for now. If he purchases hm2 then I think it's a clearer sign. Anyway I'll be reaching mahasarakam in like 1-2 days and there will be nothing to do but grind... Very little other activities so see you on Skype!

Was going out for a run but decided to do a short update before I leave.

Yes fok. I am gradually closing up those leaks. Will continue working on them as I see how big an impact they have on the rest of your play on future streets.

I moved to ftp to play staked yesterday. The players are definitely more fishy there based on my first 5k hands. Getting used to the speed of it. Rush is so much faster than zoom. Its like you are focusing on one table, and bomb. You just folded the nuts at another. Definitely have to work on taking more notice of the other tables while making decisions on one. Will continue to grind. Hope to start on nl25 in the coming days. Will discuss that soon.

Happy hour is my bane. I keep planning my schedule to its timings. Urgh. But I am happy that there is happy hour. Conflictions at its best.

My schedule now is to study 2 hours in between my sessions, breaking them up into various timeslots of video watching, evaluating my play, playing around with equilator. I will also need to structure this up a bit more so yeah. Will discuss and come up with a plan!

All in all, I am still in overdrive to reach my goal of making poker my living with cgf and rio my main inspiration. Not a lot of people can say they have friends that making a living through poker(not talking about here ofc) and I have 2 to draw motivation from.

Let's go! For a run. Then we will be back to continue this journey. :)

Its easy to take pictures. Its the transfer to com, converting, uploading then putting it here that is making me lazy. Hahaha.. Oh well, this sums up last night, or rather, this morning. And in a couple hours time again.

So I'm back prematurely in Singapore due to some problems. Had to cut short my trip as there was a warrant for my arrest due to some shit that wasnt even my fault. Family panicked and so I am back here. Grinding. Alone. Again. Which sucks. I want to go back to Thailand.

Anyway, I am trying to process everything I need to. So that I can for once clear whatever is tying me down to the business. And get back into the grind while I work on another project.

Oh well, it has been a good day at the tables today, not a bad start to grind back at home. As I ended the stake after 50k hards(which ended in profit thankfully), I was grinding back up all that I could to make up my 15BIs before I head back to nl25 again. Finally did that today and will be hitting those tabs tmr.

Hopefully I will be able to continue playing A game and crush nl25 for a bit. Oh well, its 2am here so time to sleep.
