Or rather, I saw fake snow in Singapore and snow on the ground in Korea, but never ever falling snow.. Haha..
5 more hours till my flight. According to Rio, I blog when I am bored. Now I am kinda waiting for dinner, and so I am gonna put in a small update.

Its kinda a bittersweet feeling at the moment. One part of me do not wish to go, while the other is excited to go.
Will try and take more pictures and update this blog, making it more exciting with pictures. Wun exactly be threadsavers but it should be better then a wall of text!
Wanted to make a long post but I need to communicate with my family before I leave. So I would make a longer post when I am more free!
It's my second day in Germany, it has been quite tiring do far. My flight touchdown in frankfurt at 520am, was expecting to be able to sleep with ease on the plane but ended up sleeping like 3 hrs in the entire 13 hour flight. Coupled with my 4 hours of sleep the night before(course I wanted to sleep on the plane :f_confused:), it deffo was not a good idea. Yest was spent settling housing, insurance, registration as a citizen, activating my bank account and met up with a fellow Singaporean who was working here. Lucky for us, that was a totally +ev move as he helped us 1. Get a sim card that allowed unlimited Internet surfing for 9.95/month. 2. Brought us to eat awesome chinese food for dinner. 3. Helped us book our train ticket to berlin at 36.50 which would had cost 129 eurs if we booked it now.
That took the whole day and I only rested at 10pm. I was so tired, I just plonk into bed and sinked into deep sleep. Woke up this morning to a strike for all u and s bahns which meant we had to walk to school to do our enrollment. That done meant going to shop for daily necessities and cooking our first meal! What we thought would not talk too much time ended making us rush super crazily to pack, get ready and rush to the train station(which was made troublesome by the strike.)
So here I sit, on the ICE train, reaching Berlin in 20 mins. Le gf and other companion are happily sleeping beside me while I decided to stay awake so as to keep an eye on our things. So far things have been looking good and I am looking for an awesome 17 day road trip.
Oh.. 1 last thing to add, the weathers not super cold as I expected thought it does get a bit chilly at night. Will update more when I am free!

Just finished 3 days and 4 nights in Berlin. Quite a nice city and a good start to my exchange. It was quite funny an incident that happened. My gf and I were just randomly walking around and we decided to take the train. There we went to the platform thinking of heading for a pub crawl. All if a sudden, I see this 3 asian dudes. I was like ok. Quite a rare sight.. Hmm.. Why does this guy look so much like this friend of my from Singapore....... And why is he looking me at like he knows me.......!!! And under totally improbable odds, 2 different groups of Singaporeans met at a train station in Berlin, went for a pub crawl and realized that we are both headed for Amsterdam on Monday. Now I m sitting at the Berlin airport, it's 5am and I m waiting for a plane to Maastricht. It would be a short detour on route to Amsterdam.
It is really interesting to learn so many things while traveling, I cannot wait to explore holland! Will not have Internet much there so would blog when I can!

Today is my last day in Amsterdam. It has been quite a good 5 days of relaxing and sightseeing. 5 days might be a little too many but at least it meant time to chill and take our time.
The night before must have been the worse night in our lives.
1. Met a friend and his bike got stolen.
2. Got on the tram and got caught not paying.
Both of which my friend had never got caught for since he was here in jan. obv we felt guilty though it was just a case of happy(not) coincidence.
But it was still a good stay, visiting Anne frank's and van gogh museum, walking around and just chilling!
Gotta get a few more packets of stroopwaffles before I leave. Those taste so good!
Oh well, onwards to my next destination! Valencia here I come!

Benches? Please. We opened our sleeping bag and slept under a bridge.
But seriously, we just used hostelworld and sort according to price! Then read reviews and see how it goes. Stayed at hostel Annemarie in Amsterdam which was like 10/night and it wasn't all that bad. Ok location, not dirty, super cheap price. And Manu, Singaporeans will try our best to not pay if possible. Always. Hahaha..
It's been a couple of days since I blogged, and that's because I m now in Barcelona! Was in Valencia the day before and was just walking around the city. Stayed at this apartment and couldn't get wifi. Last night we took a bus to barca and it was such a bad ride. The driver left 1 early late and was driving like he was steering a roller coaster. Could not sleep much and only booked into my apartment at 4pm. So we walked around the whole day and I m exhausted. Talked to my family at home through Skype just now and it's good to know everyone's doing well.
2 more days in barca and it's on to........ Can't remember. When I do I will update.
Have not blogged in quite some time. Now I am back in frankfurt. It had been a long 17 day roadtrip covering Berlin, Maastricht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Valencia and Barcelona. Quite fun, but tiring as well. Really enjoying Europe at the moment though having a dry rash really sucks.
So its Good Friday today and I am sitting here, tethering my internet from my phone which is crawling at the speed of a snail. So fired up HEM and Stars wanting to get my first hands in this month and..... I cannot validate my HEM2, connect to stars and all pages are taking eons to load. So here I am, blogging to get my free 10 SPs, while waiting for HEM to let me log in to get my serial number to access HEM2.
No poker updates so far and it's gonna remain this way till I get access to my school's wifi which would considerably increase my internet speed.
Oh, to end off this short update, tomorrow marks the start of sale of tickets to Tomorrowland 2012! Hoping to get tickets. Anyone who is thinking of going as well, would be good to meet up!

No updates past 2 days cause I had no Internet at my hostel. Now I am in another hostel called smart Russell and its the first time I am sleeping in a 24 bunk room. Quite an experience actually. And first time seeing triple bunk beds. It's too damn high! Haha.. But London has been good, watched 1) Chicago 2) mousetrap. And gonna watch les miserables tomorrow. Going for all the plays and musicals as those in Singapore are super duper expensive.
Living in the uk is really really expensive. Just staying here for 4 days makes me feel super poor already. Haha.. At least I won a big Mac yesterday. Hahaha..
2 more days till I head back to Frankfurt. And with enough time hopefully, to earn enough SPs to remain gold (though it does not have any benefits). Seeing cgf at nl100 now makes me wanna climb after him!

Hallo to all who are reading! Currently relaxing in Salzburg Austria! Will be here for 4 days. Had a grand plan to grind at night so I brought my laptop like a pro! And I left my stars security token at home like a fish! 
so here I sit with no way to zoom it. Haha.. Oh well. Got a 2nd (3rd) free capital at poker770. So I shall see how much I can make at nl2 in 3 days. If the money come in soon that is.

Salzburg was pretty. Good first view of Austria. Now to go to Vienna and be amazed even more. Went to Hallstatt as well which was so calming and picturesque. Want to put up a lot of pictures but cannot upload it now. So it will just be all words for now.
Came back to Frankfurt 2 days ago. Had classes yesterday and today(like now). Last night watched the barca-chelsea match. Quite a funny match capped by Terry's knee. Found this today:

Meeting 2 more friends and travelling Rome, Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Milan in 7 days. Cannot wait to see Italy!
Update on Poker: Starting to Zoom at nl25. Volume sucks (2 hours??), but still up like 3BIs so far. Just wait for random donks to pay you off with A high and its all good. Tight and you will never go wrong. At least at nl25. Saw a couple of pokerstrategist around so not only loads of fishies but a couple of regs as well!
Will try to get more volume in and of course, do the reload bonus.

Cant let my blog falter on page 4 and my class starts in 20 mins so I have decided for an update! Decided that travelling plans aint really what a poker blog should have too much of so I have decided to not update too much about my trips. Instead, its back to poker updates!
I am stuck back in frankfurt for this week and so there is more time to grind now.
Did my reload deposit on Wed (2nd May) and have been grinding normal tabs to surprise surprise, not hit a milestone hand. It hit on an nl25 fr tab and seeing I was sitting on 18 of those, it was a case of so close yet so far. 
Oh well, that's done now and I am back to grinding zoom nl25. It really is a rake grinding machine but so much easier to play. Still see a major leak in my game which is having too high flop cbet. It was become an automated response for me to just cbet and that has been leading to me lose 20bbs a tad too frequently. Some are obvious no need to cbet like:
