Hello guys,

My name is Nikolay, 20 years old and I'm from Bulgaria.
I decided to start my second blog here in the English community. I haven't been active in a year in my old blog, so i just decided to start a new one.

Old one, here

A lot of stuff happend for that time.
Last year, i went to university, my first year. That time i was playing live and saved some money. When I went there, i had really optimistic ideas of what studying and my life are going to be. I thought i was going to play poker all the time, grind some money and maybe leave uni after my freshment year.
LOL, it wasn't anything like that, not even close.
I was partying all the time, not playing with a BRM, tilting a lot and after the first month , i lost my bankroll, which it was like 500$.
After that, i played rarely , barelly not. I had to pay rents , etc. Didn't really had much money for poker.

In April, I started playing again. I was grinding rush tournaments on FullTilt that time, made 400$ profit. In the end of the month, I started playing MTT's in PokerStars and I won my top3 tournaments for 2 days. My bankroll grew up to 3400$ and I was really excited. Cashed out some money and left 2k.
I was playing a lot in May. Didn't run good at all, many 10-15 places and my BR slowly dropped. I decided to cash out everything and play Live when i go home.
June I've finished my year and started playing live, NL200. Also, I had exams, job ( still working to the end of September) but for a that month, I was ahead like 1.5k euro.
In the begging of July , begin my dowswing and i lost my BR for 2-3 sessions. I was very disapointed and couldn't believe how it happend.
After that i decided to ask for a stake on 7$ Fifty50's. Also didn't go well and then decided to take a break for few weeks. I watched some poker videos, read some articels, etc.
It's September now and deposited 200$ on PokerStars. I got my 50$ bonus and started playing 3.5 Fifty50 and time to time, MTT's. Luckily i won 500$ and my bank grew up. Yesterday, aslo had some couching with a really good player. We made some analysis on my hands on F50's and 1 live session. It was very helpful to me and soon i will get more hours.
Last night played some MTT's and 2x2.50 180 man. Manged to win 1 , and get 130$, also made 10th place and 18th place on 2 MTT's. So Friday 13 gave me like 230$ profit.
My bankroll right now is 855$. I'm going to make some volume on 7$ Fifty50's and MTT's and if I run good, move up to 15's.
My plan is to reach 2k BR and change the format to 18 or 180 man.

Goals for this month;

-make as much as possible F50's
-make a profit
-update often my blog
-win sunday million :O

Until now;

Spoiler

i'm in kind of a upswing and it's great, hope to last forever :O

Okay, GL HF

thank you,

sometimes people can be very naive, you know, but we learn from our mistakes. I'm 2 weeks away from my second year at University, so hope to make it different this time =)

Hello,

I wish you good luck too and I will follow here too.

I like the fify50s and play them from time to time to get some VPPs but not above 3,50 USD. I like Cashgame more hehe. :f_biggrin:

May the upswing hold on this month :f_cool:

See ya

@7h3r1pp4 , thank you :P

Today wasn't good,

I tried the $15 f50s and also played few 18man, definitely doesn't roon good on the 18s , i was 3 outed 4 or 5 times on the final tables and lost big pots there, which guaranteed me a place in the money. I managed to get in the money on only 1 tournament and I wont it.

18 man:

Hello,

Today had some couching on 18man's. It was really helpful. Hope to get more in the future.
Yesterday, I played some f50, 18 man and 180. I think I'll combine them in the future and try to get maximum of it.

I managed to win one 1st place on 8$ 180man, I'm -52$ on f50's atm and -49$ on the 18man's [15$]
The interesting thing about 18man's is that from 30 SNG's , i've been 4 times in the money and i have 4 1st places. Not running good though.

Atm, my BR stays at 1,014$, tonight I'll make a detiled post and give some graphs.

Now, time for playing.

Have a nice day,

:f_cool:

And I have one question,

ICMizer or SNGwizard, which one is better or they are pretty much the same ?

ICMizer from those. Have not used it, but have seen it used. SNGwizard cannot be recommended anymore imo. Personally I am using holdemresource calculator.

Well your story seems to be prime example of very likely not great bankroll management. Hopefully that side is in good shape, if it wasnt earlier. Anyone will go broke at some point without proper brm.

@ghaleon thank you for your answer, i'll get the icmizer

I was thinking about this 2 calls, i guess, I just have to fold

Hello pokerZoo,

not playing very good last 2-3 days,

today made one MTT session, but didn't cash anywhere , so i'm down 100$

For the last 3 days; (18+180man+F50+MTT)

Spoiler

It's very small volume, but not feeling great for playing these days.

Tomorrow gonna have some couching on $15 Fifty's , because I found them harder than 7's. Everybody's much tighter, more regs and hard to find nice steal spots, so hope to get some good knowledge. It's expensive btw, i will affort only 1 hour, but the guy is very good, I've already taken 2 hours by now.
I'm not very happy with the fact that I have to withdraw from my bankroll, but It should be a good investment.

Got ICMizer for 3 months, hope to help me to improve my game. I'm not very into the program yet, but I will.

Also, I'm almost done with my summer job, few days left, I'm happy with that because I will have more time for poker. After 1 week, I'm going to university, hope to find some nice flat with my friends, where I can comfortably play poker.

My BR dropped to 70 BI for 15$'s atm, because of some expenses (couching, programs, etc) and I'm thinkig of moving down to 7$ untill I have 100 BIs again, but I will decide that after the couching tomorrow.

One of the best, lol :baby:

"Success is my only motherfu**ing option, failure's not"

I need to prove that to myself

Also need to change some things next month, like being sport active again, because lately I'm not really and I'm thinking of making a tattoo, I have really good idea, but not sure yet. Of course It's going to be on a cards subject.

this is for now, seeya

very drowsy song, haha

GL HF and sry for my bad english
