Get insulted at least 10 times in chat.

I already achieved this one in my first tournament.

Tournaments are like cheating regarding that. Try it in zoom!

To recover gold status, watch more videos, and move up to $1+20c SNGs on i-poker. I would like to be playing $5+50c again by year-end.

I would be interested to know why you don't play the $5.50 SNGs anymore? I am thinking of playing them myself but I am waiting for the new changes to ipoker this October before deciding what to play. Did you do well at them?

Yes I did well at them a few years ago, but I stopped playing actively and withdrew my bankroll. Now building back up to the point where my roll will justify the stakes. I may even go wild and deposit.

Get to the $5.50 as soon as you can. No difference in standard imo just get screwed by the rake at the lower levels

Thanks for the encouragement.
Of course it would help if I didn't fall asleep during the games - lost another buy-in that way tonight, so cross, hadn't done that for a couple of months. Coolered and on the wrong end of flips in my other games, but partially redeemed myself by digging in and taking 1st in my last game, so not too gross overall.

I have not posted for a while because I have been on a massive downswing, the worst I can recall for many months. As far as I can work out, I have been doing nothing differently from the times before, when I was making solid profit.

The result, however, is that I am currently about 13 buy-ins down on the month. I have had " the usual" - Aces cracked on two successive occasions in one evening, losing persistently with monster hands in preflop all-ins called by rags which magically transformed into trips and straights, etc., etc., etc.

The October goals have therefore been modified -
# not to hurl the computer through my living-room window;
# not to punch out strangers in the street;
# not to tilt off the rest of my bankroll.

Extra! Extra! Reeeaaadddd all about it!

The PS $50 award for forumizing like a mad thing has just appeared in my 770 account.

So: do I grind at my present level until I 'earn the right' to move up, or do I use the bankroll and move up a level anyway....?

And it continues ...... :(

Just called an all-in from microstack with AQ. The guy turns over A7. he hits TWO 7s by the river. A couple of hands along, he is still a microstack, he goes all-in again. I call with JJ, he turns over AK, hits K on river. I was still in, but on tilt, made crazy call to someone else, now am out. Time to find a stranger to punch out ....
