Pokerstrategy Finland is shutting down

So, now Titan Poker stopped its operations in Finland too, in effect immediately. What's next?

This is some sad news. But in Belgium we have the same thing. I can't play on several rooms either. But that doesn't mean that I can't play poker anymore, there are still enough room to play. And there are more countries with restrictions.

It's sad if you are a reg on Titan but we can only cash out, move to another room and keep grinding.

Meh.. I had under 20€ on my account there. (Minimum amount of withdraw: 20€) Support sent the withdrawal forward to some poker team or something. I hope I'll get my money out. It's not much, but still. It's about principle. They treat me like a criminal, I won't pay anymore rake for them.

Mansion poker is also on the list of rooms that shutdown the operations in Finland, Netherlands and Canada.

An update to Shev's post: the pull out doesn't most probably apply for Canada, just Netherlands and Finland.

And for now it's only about Titan Poker and Mansion Poker, but one can't of course predict the future.

Once again something shitty in Finland's poker sky and somehow Playtech is behind it. Say what U want, but the owner of PS is involved! ♠_mad:

Poker will never die in finland... Finland will just have a monopoly and Ray will be managing all the games if something

I hate how nobody seems to know who or what is doing this to us. It feels like its some evil force out there killing our ability to exercise our rights as humans to play some goddamn poker if we want to. Are the rumours true that Playtech is behind this? Can they touch our ability to play on Pokerstars?

Obviously RAY/Playtech is behind of all this crap. I think that their agenda is cut off all the other services from Finnish players except the RAY software just to asssure RAY that they are really serious with them and they do everything to make sure that the co-coperation is going to continue.

The fact that they shut down those few ipoker sites from Dutch players too is not a coincidence.
Please correct me if i'm wrong, but as far as i've understand, in Netherlands, the goverment have a monopoly what comes to the gambling. And again, as far i've understand, their goverment is plannig to open internet casino of their own, and probably their software will come from Playtech.

If those presumptions are accurate, i would be really suprised if they don't shut down Dutch community in near future too..

For Playtech this is just a "business call" but i'm quite pissed off that Pokerstrategy/Playtech tryed to "sell" this shutting down to us as a legal matter when everybody knows that it was just a bunch of bulls*it.

At this time there are no legal way for RAY/goverment to ban Finnish players from Pokerstars etc. but who knows what is going to happen in the future..
