tough one. With no reads, we could assume he is limp/calling with PP, a PP higher than TT-JJ is highly unlikely. I guess he could play any over pair this way, as well as his sets. Against JJ-66, 44, 22 you're still a favourite, so maybe I would call here.

I would fold, u are only beating bluffs but this line is never a bluff.
Call flop / mini raise turn is almost always a monster hand, I don't think that he is ever playing pocket 99 or sth like that this way. He probably have small pocket pair that hit set or straight or SC that hit two pairs or straight.

without history i fold here. toony is right. this is polarised between nuts and air, he is never making this play with 77-99 (or JJ for that matter)

the more I think to that hand, the more I see a fold as well.

But his line doesn't make sense, he should protect against the flush draw if he has a set/overpair, shoudln't he?

He almost never has a hand that you beat. Turnraises are strong hands far more often than not. Fold and wait for a better spot.
